Runof - Greed
925: The life of Runof began in the forest clearing of the rural interior near the house of his adoptive grandfather Arden the druid. Not long after the death of his master, Grom only had his closest friend Mairus for company. Grom had sought another companion, and in turn decided to create a son and successor rather than endure the arduous task of a mortal relationship that may have caused a rift between himself and his work as one of the last druids in all of Ireland.
Having been supplied with wax from honeybees that inhabited the surrounding forest, Grom started his work, chiselling, moulding, and scraping away at large piles of beeswax until he had a finished form that resembled a young human child. He then used the powers of his craft to bring the inanimate statue to life. Grom christened his creation Runof, a young boy who had golden hair, yellow eyes, and human skin that had a slight tint of yellow as a result of the beeswax that had been used to make him. He sported red robes that were the color of dried blood that were meant by Grom to contrast with his yellow skin and other features.
