Alex X Lucy: Prototype X Elfen Lied

End of Mission

Alex and Lucy engaged Havoc, knocking into him as she waved seven vectors to knock him off his feet, breaking the ground and sending that monster flying as Alex jumped over Lucy who stopped herself with two vectors as the prototype claw pounced Havoc in the face, cutting it with ten deep claws before kicking off as Lucy now jumped over him as he landed in a knee and slammed four vibrating vectors.

These collided and made an explosion that let off a good shockwave effect as well knocking away the soon approaching evolved back to the debris.

Alex and Lucy were both fine as now they realized as well as their enemies that this was the last stand, the final push of this battle. No more support could come as the fire had spread too far and surrounded this arena now both of the targets for capture had made.

One with claws landed near those two as he noticed the flames and encirclement as things fell all around, the buildings beginning to feel the stress of such burning conditions "You... Monsters... Now we can't escape either. Those explosions... The way Project Zeus spread and looked around wasn't just to search for Project Athena but also to keep us here!" He said with a double swipe scratch to the wind.

Another with arms blades skidded to be near the two. Alex and Lucy kept their guard up

"So it seems you were not desperate or stupid. Damn you, project Zeus." that one said as a few others showed up with nasty degloving injuries. One had no face, his skin ripped clean off with burning muscles beneath and no eyes to speak off. Another came in with his entire chest gone, no armor on his upper torso as he was mad with a rabies like demeanor against Alex and Lucy.

The final one haunted Lucy a little as he was burned all over his upper body except for his six pack and right arm below the shoulder. He looked so fake... Yet Lucy knew this was real... These things could survive the craziest injuries. In a way... This represented their very inhumanity.

Then all three healed themselves as Havoc appeared next to them with no visible injuries as the strands of flesh and muscle bounded up to them like crimson petals, slapping on to them as if nothing happened.

"You guys disgust me. You plan for humans to have this...? Then you don't want to save them." Lucy said as she raised her hands like she was about to fight them hand to hand, a martial artists way that made Alex raise an eyebrow but heard her message.

"You want to replace them. There's no way humanity could ever call itself that if they become whatever you things are now." She said as Alex agreed with her, having known from the start that these guys had no intention to help humanity. All that wumbo jumbo is garbage. All they want is power.

Survival of the fittest. And that's it.

"And wouldn't that be good either way for you two...?"

Havoc slammed his giant limb to the ground as it grossly slithered in the ground while staring with those dead black-reddish eyes of his.

Lucy said nothing as Alex just glared.

"You two aren't even human anymore. Why do you fight evolution? Their deaths mean nothing to you. Mercer, what have they ever given you?" Havoc said as this hit him hard and out of nowhere.

"-All you have gotten from mankind is the very same thing Gentek and Blackwatch have. Despair. Troubles. And every single time without fail, an attempt to kill you every time they ever saw you." He said with finality as he turned to Lucy.

The diclonius raised her hand and some vectors to the sides of her arms as Havoc let out a golden orange viral fumes from his mouth

"And you, Diclonius. From birth you were hunted. You and all your kind were treated as a burden that would end all humanity, a force that was backed by many cowards and leaders who did not see that the earth needed evolution. All those idiots put the Dicloni to death fearing the end of such weak minded species. Just to save their backs so they can stab yours? Why do you protect them then? Why?" He asked as Lucy and Alex were both pondering on that. They had two reasons to why they were fighting now.
