"I don't know what I can do to help. I wish I could." I said softly as Ariel continued to sob.
I heard something. I looked up, and protectively swam in front of Ariel, who continued crying. I saw a pair of glowing yellow eyes. I summoned my Scepter to me from the necklace I had.
"Show yourself!" I called out in warning, pointing my Scepter to them.
"Poor child. Poor sweet child."
The pair of eyes obeyed, and right before my eyes, I saw two eels slither towards Ariel and myself. Each had one yellow eye, and the other was white. Ariel looked up from crying.
"She has a very serious problem." The first eel said.
"If only there was something we could do," The second eel said.
"But there is something." The first eel said with a toothy yet sly grin.
"Who...? Who are you?" Ariel asked, sniffling.
My father once told me that the sea witch had eels as her minions, but at the time, I could not for the life of me remember their names.
"Don't be scared. We represent someone who can help you—someone who can make all your dreams come true." The eels slithered around Ariel and myself.
I returned my Scepter back to a necklace as Ariel flinched a bit.
"Just imagine, you and your prince—together forever," the eels proposed.
"What do you mean?" I asked warily.
"I don't understand." Ariel mirrored me.
"Ursula...has great powers." The first eel whispered.
My eyes widened but then I remembered that Ariel and Flounder had told me horrible stories about this Ursula.
"The Sea Witch? Why that's...I couldn't possibly—no! Get out of here! Leave me alone!" Ariel mulled it over and then snapped at them.
She turned away, burying her face into her hands again over the rock where Prince Eric's statue once stood.
"I think it's best you leave." I warned. My eyes never left them.
"Suit yourself. It was only a suggestion." The eels slithered away, and I saw one of them kick a portion of the broken statue towards Ariel and myself.
I was about to destroy it, but was stopped by Ariel. Part of the statue's face was still intact—the eyes, the nose and mouth, at least.
"Wait," Ariel called out to the eels.
"Yessss?" Both of them turned our way.
"Take me to her." Ariel said.
"Ariel! Are you out of your mind?!" I gasped in disbelief. "You said that she's a demon!"
"Daddy won't listen! What else am I gonna do, Joshua? I still want to be part of your world and find the Prince!" Ariel pointed out. "Not to mention, Sebastian almost blew your cover."
"Right..." I thought long and hard, and then I agreed with a reluctant nod.
"This way," the eels said, and we followed without question.
We swam out of the grotto and past Flounder and Sebastian, who were still moping about what happened.
I rolled my eyes in irritation when I saw Sebastian come up to us.
"Ariel, what are you doing here wit dis riffraff?" He demanded.
"We're going to see Ursula." Ariel answered with a straight face.
