There was still some time left before club meeting was over so Monika decided we should use this time to share poems and also added the suggestion that we should write one at home for tomorrow's meeting. I think I'm slowly getting what she's trying to do here but I'd have to confirm my theories before anything else.

Natsuki eventually emerged from the closet and we began cycling through each other's poems, I got the chance to learn about everyone's writing style and skill level in poetry.

Yuri was quite complex and detailed in her writing with her topic of the poem being 'Sunlight' talking about how it's something we can't live without but in some cases can be the death of us. Her overall experience in writing was far greater than the rest of us even compared to Monika and I could tell by the context of this poem Yuri seems to have quite the interests hidden in that shy shell.

Sayori's poem was rather simple and resembled her usual bubbly nature the topic of her poem being about clouds which was simply showing the wishful thinking of the ability to fly and to do things we deemed impossible, it also had a hint of the lack freedom as mentioned in my poem as well which she caught on quickly.

Natsuki, who reluctantly shoved her poem into my chest, has a somewhat unique style with her words being presented in a cutesy manner but also holding a strong meaning in them for the reader to figure out themselves, the topic for her poem was about a butterfly. I wonder when she saw one up there, it basically expressed the judgemental thoughts of others about caterpillars being weird looking and soon become a beautiful butterfly that soars and leaves all its past behind. Although simple on it's own but when I look at the person this is coming from I could assume this meant something alot more to her than the reader.

Monika's poem matched her personality of the open optimistic person she is with her writing being a mix of complex and creative context, she tends to play around with the space she's provided on the paper as the conclusion of her poem is found way down at the bottom of the page. The topic of her poem being the world, a place so huge and out stretched yet we still feel a sense of isolation because of the limitations and restrictions we have in our lives that prevent us from 'exploration'. Even though her wording was something higher than my way of writing I could easily understand everything.

Everyone seemed to like my poem with Natsuki saying she "approves" of it which I think is something..? But overall a mediocre review, I actually enjoyed this little activity and I think it's safe to say the others did too. "Okay everyone! I guess that's it for today, make sure you write a poem for tomorrow and if we get on a steady pace we can make this a regular routine!" After nodding off to our president,Yuri was the first to take her leave followed by Natsuki who stopped at the door to turn back and looked at me swinging my bag over my shoulder and...waved at me? Am I actually making progress with her? I shake off the thought and turn to see Sayori talking to Monika at the teacher's desk. "Are you not gonna go home?" She asked Monika who was folding her own poem, "Well after today's meeting I was told to clear out a closet for one of the empty rooms down the hall since the staff will be using it for some event." I walked over to them while listening in, "Why just you? Can't you ask other council members to lend a hand?"

Monika laughed nervously, "Ahaha...well when the meeting ended all the members rushed out when one of the teachers stopped to give me the task. When I accepted I turned to find no one there to ask for help from..." I had a little chuckle, "Well that's just unlucky." Monika raised her pen and began twirling it in her hand as she left her bag on the desk before Sayori brought up a suggestion while aggressively pulling on my arm, "Well~! Evan can help you out!" I pull my arm away from her grasp and glare at her, I really wouldn't mind helping Monika out but I do mind this goblin always speaking for me. "Ah it's okay Sayori, I wouldn't want to bother you with this."
