Chapter 21: Rebuild and Restore

Natsuki's POV:

It's the start of a new month and we're here back at the club, it's really been alot more lively than usual ever since the guys joined but I'd be lying if it wasn't actually a needed change, I got to share my interests for manga with that Misha guy and even Minori joined for the fun of it.

But I couldn't help but feel like we're just...trying to forget about Evan. I've been trying to get through to him but I almost never see him anymore. The guys tell me he's coming to school but you'll never see him out during break or even a free period, I've just been so worried about him...and I miss him. I know I still have my doubts about the situation but I can't just throw away my feelings just like that....I can't even bring myself to focus on classes or even the club activities.

...but who knew that we would get the most eventful enlightenment ever starting today...

When I came to the club the only people there were Minori, Yuri and Monika who were happily chatting at the front of the classroom. When I approached them I kept looking around making sure I'm not missing someone.

"Hey shorty~!" Minori was the first to greet me, although I hate it how she calls me that with such ease I've grown used to this new friendship we've developed.

"So where are those Goons today? And is Sayori late?"

"Well~ From what I've heard the guys managed to convince him and bring him back to the club."

Huh? He's....coming back? My heart skipped a beat when she said that but out of what emotion I was still not sure.

"And Sayori had a little chat with him before school about something and then she told me she had to 'do something about it' and left the club room after leaving her bag." Monika said with sigh as she crossed her arms while Yuri seemed to be in a concern of her own as she flipped through the pages of her book.

"Huh? What does that even mean...?"

"I'm not sure....but whatever Evan told her had her worried all day from what I recall from talking to her during break. She didn't want to say what exactly it was about."

Is...is this the best time..? They're my friends too they deserve to know the truth. Plus it's all because of this secret that the club went to shit in the first place. I'm only assuming it's also what Evan told Sayori so I should keep up from my end...

I sigh and place my bag onto the teachers desk,

"I think I know what its about..." Everyone was quick to turn their attention to me as they were ready to finally understand and make sense out of this stupid situation.

"Back...at the festival. Before the final event Evan and I went to the roof and we had a 'talk'. It was something that I had been working up the courage to get to.."

I wrap my arms around myself and rub my elbows as I look off to the side, "The truth is...I really liked Evan and I just wanted to get my feelings through and be done with it."

"Natsuki..." Monika sighed.

"Liked" Minori tilted her head after hearing the past tense of my explanation.

"Well...after the event I wanted to meet him after everyone left but...when I found him he was making out with that Sana girl...and-"
