Short P.O.V
"Halt." a familiar voice stopped me. I closed my eyes and sighed in irritation. Ano na naman ang kailangan ng kalangitan na'to sa'kin?
"What do you want?" wala sa modo kong tanong. He looked at me seriously like I did something that's likely for him to get pissed.
"Oh nothing, I just came here to check on you, and I feel like... Confirming about something." nagkrus siya ng kamay at nagpintig naman ang mga tenga ko sa mga sinabi niya. What is this idiot up to again?
"Get lost," I angrily said to him but he straightaway faced me.
"Huh? Where are you going? I'm still talking to you," I scoffed, trying to ignore him. "Hey, why are you always so avoidant and rude Sil? You're so boring man, that's why we usually don't get along," he chuckled and smirked. "Sa bagay nga naman, you don't like to befriend me since I am a threat to your eyes..."
I halted, turning to face him with narrowed eyes. I gripped on his arm and the pressure made my jaw clench.
"Do you want to die? Normal people like you have never been a threat," his smile twisted sarcastically. I tightened my grip on him forcefully.
"I wondered why you acted so jealous when I healed Azami though," he scoffed, tila natigilan naman ako kaya't binitawan ko siya nang may marahas na tulak.
"Jealous? What's there to be jealous about?"
"Really huh? Acting so tough, when I literally thought you are caught of guard of what she did to you," napataas ang kilay ko.
He paused and smiled. "Are you actually hereby announcing that you're quite romancing what you call the devil?" he mimicked my words mockingly.
"How... Did you—"
"Love is just a trick, huh?" he laughed aloud. Then picked something that had made me speechless.
A wire tapping!
Naalala kong nang-iimbento pala itong kalangitan na'to.
"How was her impression towards you? Did you get butterflies? HAHA!"
"I knew there's something about you that made me wonder! You're actually not that bad! Infact that you kept helping me, my thoughts about you and Ashley's incident enlightened my confusions..."
I swallowed hard,
Those damn flashbacks.
I clutched my chest, my heart's racing again...
I was at a loss for words, and a wave of earnest goosebumps swept over me. Startled, I acted instinctively and used my ability on him right away!
Hinila ko siya gamit ng kapangyarihang meron ako at marahas na binitawan. He got himself dragged away. I couldn't help to frown as I damn looked at him.
"So you were spying us and recorded everything?!" hindi ko makapaniwalang asal.
"Chill Archer, I was spying only on 'My Amy', there's no you in my vocabulary." he said with emphasis. He even rolled his eyes at me pero bigla siyang nataranta at nanlaki ang mga matang napatingin muli sa'kin.
"Wait, someone crashed it!" his face drained of color as he removed the device from his ears and examined the small gadget in his hand.
Unti-unting napangisi naman ako at nagpamulsa sa narinig. I scoffed in achievement.
