Challenge 2: have some smarts

"Ladies report to the ballroom please and find your seating." When I walked in and saw only 5 chairs, that's when it hit me. There's no going back, I have to win.
" Today's challenge was fit for Tonya, you will put through a series of simulations and depending on how smart you are in those simulations depends on how you do." They sent each of us to our rooms and when we got there they put these little helmets on.

I woke up on a field of flowers and i could see everything. I felt in my mouth and found fangs. When did I become vampire?!? I was just in a challenge??? I pinched myself and didn't feel it, I must be in simulation. I heard a scream and I ran towards it. I found a child in a pile of blood, I went to her and that's when it happened. She charged towards me. This little girl was a vampire and a scary one at that. She went past me towards an elderly man on the ground, I knew she was going to kill him, she wasn't controlling herself. So I went after her. I had to protect the innocent. When I pushed her doe she looked up at me frightened. I wanted to let her go, but I knew if I did she would still kill people. I snapped her neck then grabbed a stick and slammed it threw her heart. She disappeared and then I was in the castle. I was in a dark hallway, it looked like a basement. I followed the hallway. There was a door at the end, I opened it. I saw the prince crumpled up on the floor with a stake in his legs. I ran to him to see if he was alive. He opened his eyes and looked at me.
" My queen, they told me they had you, I tried to save you." He frowned at me. "Get out of here sweetheart, rule for me. Tell the guards to take you to the tower and protect you and our baby. Keep her safe for me. I love you both." I looked down and saw my big belly. How did I not notice that? I put my hand on it and I felt it move. Our baby girl... I looked to him and he looked mad. "Get out of here now Reagen!!" He yelled but I couldn't leave the father of my child. I pulled the stake out of his legs and pulled him up with me and headed for the door. Once I got him safe I stood beside him and felt wrong. I looked down to see that I was bleeding. I was losing my baby girl. No!! I made my way to Daylen to wake him.
"Daylen, the baby." I whispered
"Is she coming?" He looked at me.
"No, she's dying I feel it, help me." I did not know what else to do.
"What do I do?" He asked me. I looked around the room and found a knife and a blanket.
"Here, cut me open and save our daughter, I'll be okay, but you must do it now." I ordered.

I was once again back in my room. " you were done pretty quick miss Reagen." The guard said taking off the helmet thing. "Go eat then we will meet at 7 today instead of eight, you have an hour." He said as he turned to leave.

After I ate I looked down to my belly, it had felt so real, my little girl. It was fake, I had to keep reminding myself that. I made my way into the ballroom and sat down in my chair.
"Welcome back ladies." The king staid. "Today's winner receiving a Royal floor prize is Tonya. You did exceptional, you helped the prince get the stakes out to heal but you also got you and your baby out safe. When his captors came back he was fully healed to kill them and you was safe."
"Second was Reagen. You saved him and dragged him away to heal someplace safe in case anyone came back to kill him but you also almost killed your daughter due to carrying him. Then last minute you shocked us all by telling him to cut the baby out to save her even though you would die." I would die. In the simulation I didn't think that, I only thought of my baby.
"Third was Maybell, fourth was Rebecca and last was Tiana. I'm sorry."
"Tiana didn't unstake him, she actually waited there so she could take them all on by herself, she thought she was being brave but in reality she risked herself, her child and the prince. All on a hope that she could kill them. ease step onto the stage.
As they hooked her up to take her blood, the king kept talking. " your sacrifice will supply your family with an allowance each month for the next 15 years. Your punishment after would be to have your brain removed. It has to do with smarts and brains so either that or we can shock your brain causing it to just stop, your choice." She held up two fingers showing she wished for the second option. After they was don't they took her away and ordered us to bed.
