CHAPTER FOUR
It's either her or me.

After explaining to Will what happened with Mike, Will decided it would be best if they had a "meeting" with the party, excluding Jane, only because his sisters safety came first.

Will didn't think Mike was gonna actually hurt her, but he needed to find out why he was treating his sister so terrible.

"Will can you please tell him that this bad boy image is really fucking stupid and no one likes it" Dustin nagged, earning a scoff from Mike himself.

"Bad boy image? Are you fucking 12? I just don't like her, she gets in the way of everything!" Mike said as he saw Lucas avert his eyes to Will.

"You pushed her down from a chair and made her hurt herself!" Will said as he got up from the table. "We can't have this in the party, you were fine months ago!"

"Because she wasn't here months ago!" Mike fired back as he got up as well, getting awfully close to Will.

"Mike calm down man" Dustin said as he looked at his friend in worry

"No Dustin I'm not gonna calm down? Are you fucking kidding me right now. I'm so sick of this. This isn't the party that we had, it's fucking gone" Mike yelled as he threw the closest object he could find towards the wall.

"Mike you're being irrelevant" Lucas said as Mike whipped his head to him.

"Irrelevant? I'm being fucking honest! Honest about what everyone thinks and is scared to admit" Mike said as it fell silent. They did have to agree, it wasn't like how it was months ago, but it wasn't anyone's fault, not even Jane's

"I'm telling you one last time Byers. I fucking hate her"

"Mike she hasn't done anything" Will said

"She's a slut"

Will pushed Mike back with what force he had.

"Don't talk about her like that" Will threatened as Lucas got up and in between them

"Guys stop okay, it's getting late" He said as Dustin agreed.

"Who Fucking cares. What are you a kid? We don't have bed times anymore" Mike said as his eyes averted over to the girl who was standing in the hallway, eyes full of tears and her arms crossed over her chest.

"It's either her or me Byers" Mike warned as Dustin and Lucas turned their heads towards the girl. Will looked behind him before looking back at his best friend.

It was a simple choice.

"You can leave then" Will said as he turned on his feet to comfort his sister, followed by Dustin. Lucas stood there for a moment, looking at Mike, he knew this was wrong of him, but Mike has been there for him through everything.

"Let's go man" Lucas said as Mike nodded, he might've lost two friends just then, but Lucas was a brother to him. He didn't need anyone else.

"Really Lucas?" Dustin spoke as the front door shut, leaving both Will and Dustin in shock.
