I could not stop thinking about the kiss i shared with Mia. It was perfect, almost like her lips were made for me. Although, im not going to lie i thought for a second she was going to kick me in my balls.

We all came to sit in the living room after showering. My mother was talking to Mia's grandmother who is such a nice woman if you ask me.

"It's nice to meet you, Mrs Pierce." My mother said with a genuine smile.

"Please dear, call me Gianna or Gia.", Mia's grandmother said, returning the smile.

"Do you like your room? If you want anything, just tell me." I said, making her smile at me.

"Thank you for everything. For taking care of my granddaughter after every she's been through-" Gianna started but Mia cut her off, "You need to sleep. You look tired." Nodding, Gianna got up from the couch and with Mia's help, she made her way to the room she's staying not before saying bye to us.

I furrowed my eyebrow in confusion at what Gianna said. What did she mean by everything she's been through? What has she been through? Im curious indeed.

Im gonna get her to tell me and for that, I just need to be her friend. Yeah, that's what she needs, A friend.

What the fuck Alec? Since when do you care about that girl so much? I think its Since the second i kissed her. Softie, are we now? Gross, Alec, you need to get laid.

What the fuck. Im talking to myself now?

"ALEC!!" My mother yelled, snapping me out of my internal conversation with myself. Did she have to yell like that?

"What the fuck mom?" I groaned, glaring at her.

"Are you deaf? Ive been talking to you!" She yelled again for the sake of it.

"No, im not deaf but if you keep yelling like that, i will be soon." I stated earninf a chuckle from her.

"What did you say? I was lost in thoughts." I asked

Are the thoughts about some girl name Mia?" Axel interrupted, smirking.

"She's better than she was." My mother took my hand in hers and said.

She's way more better than she was.

My mom chuckled, "Agreed." Fuck i said that out loud, didn't i?

"I got some work to do." i said and left to go in my office in the house itself before saying bye to my parents.

Mia

Once in the room my grandmother is staying, i told her that the De Santis don't about what my father did to me. I also told her about how Alec bought me from him.

"I knew the De Santis ever since they were kids, Care Mia. They are good people. Whatever your father told you or what you heard from other people is not true." My grandmother explained.

"I know that already." I stated with a smile.

"Don't do anything stupid, si?" She questioned receiving a nod from me.

"Now, get some rest. I have some work to do." i said to her and left but not before closing her bedroom's door.

"Mia, Christian is here." Axel came running to me making me raise an eyebrow in confusion, "Christian who?"

"You know? The guy who you scheduled a fight with?" He sighed with an eyeroll.

"Oh we'll be fighting here? I thought at the main house." I asked

"No, Alec said we're not going to the main house again and Christian asked him if he could fight you here. In the garden, outside. Everyone will be watching you fight him." He said, earning a nod from me. "I'll go get Alec. Go in the garden." He added and ran off in the direction of Alec's room.

I made my way to the garden and saw Ace, Alexia and my grandmother. My eyes widened at my grandmother standing there, I just left her room. Does she have powers or something? Noah and some other men were also present.

I ran to my grandmother who was standing beside Alexia and Ace. "What are you doing here? Do you have superpowers or something? I just left your room!" I exclaimed, making her chuckle.

"Get ready to fight, Cara Mia." She encouraged me. I hugged her before standing infront of the Christian dude

"Ready to get your ass kicked?" I asked him. He smirked,"It's gonna be the other way around."

"We'll see." I stated, my gaze falling on Alec who entered the garden and went tk stand next to his parents. "Let's start."

"Wait wait wait-" Axel interrupted, "Lets place bets."

"Team Christian?" Axel asked and some men stood forward. Most of the men did. However, Alec, Axel, Noah, Alexia, Ace and my grandmother along some other men who went on the mission with us didn't step forward.

"What boss? You on her side?" Christian asked with a fake pout.

"Always." Alec replied winking at me. I was probably red by now. 

"Okay here. If Mia wins, you guys have to give us 1000 dollars each. And if Christian wins, we give you 1000 dollars each. Deal?" Axel stated, they all nodded.

"Start!" Axel yelled.

Christian kept on throwing punches at me which i easily dodged. I punched him and broke his nose. He kicked me in the stomach, i almost fell but i managed to keep my balance. Kicking him in his leg, he fell down. I straddled him and kept throwing punches at him.

He was furious, you could see it in his eyes. He did not like the idea of himself getting kicked by a girl infront of his boss so he did what every other dumb person would do. He acted on his emotion.

Grunting, he threw me on the ground and straddled me. He threw a punch which i managed to dodge before flipping him over again. I kept him on the ground as Axel started counting.

"And the winner is Mia!" He cheered, making all the men who bet against me empty their pockets and gave them money.

"Christian, get up. Stop acting like a bitch, man." Axel said with a chuckle. Getting up, Christian punched Axel in the jaw. Axel was about to punch him back but i was faster. Punching him in the face, i spat, "You don't get to punch my friend, asshole."

"Fuck you. Whore!" He spat back and before i knew it, i felt a stinging sensation on my cheek. That bitch just slapped me.

"What the fuck did—" I started but before i could finish my sentence, Alec came and beat the crap out of the guy

"What." *punch* "The." *punch* "Fuck." *punch* "Did." *punch* "You" *punch* "just." *punch* "call." *punch* "her?" *punch*

Now, that was a scene.

"I—im s—orry!" Christian could barely breathe at this point. Scowling, Alec removed his gun and shot him.
