Tes was walking by the clinic corridors looking at her phone when a well known laugh caught her attention. She lifted her head searching for the source and there he was. Making her stop in her tracks to admire him standing by Hope's side laughing about something with a water bottle in his big hands, head tilted back but she could put her money on that he had his pearly white smile on display. She walked slowly towards them with a smile on her face, Daniel was the first one to notice her.

-G'Day, how you goin'?- The Aussie slang and his smile made Tes smile too.

-Good morning to you too, Aussie boy.- Daniel laughed. -Good morning Hope, how are you two?- Hope smile.

-Hi, my little Rose. We are just fine. I'm going to make you your usual and let you two alone.- Hope kisses her check and smiles accomplice with Daniel under the attent look of Tes.

-What's up with you two?- Daniel tried to look innocent but the way he bit his lip to suppress a smile gave him away. -You are not gonna tell me do you?- He shook his head and Tes nodded and gave him a thumbs up.

-Here you go Rose, your coffee and a little something for later.- Hope gave her a bag with cookies and smiled brightly. -¡Have fun children!.

-Hope, we are grown ups not children.- Tes tried to argue with the old lady.

-I said have fun children.- The stern look she gave her made Daniel laugh.

-Bye Hope, thanks for everything.- Daniel waves his hand saying goodbye. -Come on, White Rose.

Tes knew better than argue with him to know where he was taking her, so she just followed him through the clinic talking about little things until they were outside walking towards his purple car and Tes was looking unsure.

-Hmm Dan?- But he ignored her. -Dan.- She tried one more time and nothing so she started to walk slower and Daniel noticed it.

He turned around and smiled at her. -I know what you are thinking, no need to say it out loud. But hear me out.- He paused for a second and she nodded. -I have all this planned out and if plan A doesn't work I have like three back ups plans.- Those words made her frown. -But I need you to trust me.

Tes looked at the car and then at him, took a deep breath with her eyes closed. -What 's plan A?- Daniel smiled and walked closer to her.

-You know that tomorrow my summer break ends and I have to go to the base of McLaren.- Tes nodded. -And then to the next race location.- She nodded again. -So I plan to surprise you

-That part is done so you can scratch that.- Tes interrupted him.

-Okay, already done that mentally. After the surprise part I though to take you on a ride

-Where? How long? Why?- Tes interrupted him, again.

Daniel looked at the sky and bit his lip to not smile, making Tes smile. -Are you going to keep interrupting me, woman?- The way he said it made Tes brust in giggles, making him giggle too.

-Sorry, you can keep with your story.- She covered her mouth with her hands and Daniel shook his head.

-Like I was saying, surprise you and then take you on a ride to nowhere specific and it will last as long as it has to last or until the food runs out or someone has to use the bathroom because I want to spend time with you. We could play whatever music you want or talk or not talk at all, your choice.- The fact that he named almost the same options she gave him weeks ago, when they were walking around at dawn, made her smile. -What do you say?- Tes uncovered her mouth to talk but Daniel interrupted her. -We can go at the speed you want and pull over how many times you want or park somewhere and just stay like that or- Daniel started rambling and moving his hands, something that Tes found very cute but she covered his mouth with her hand shushing him up.
