Tes was a singer that after unfortunate events decided to exit the public eye. She met Daniel while she was healing from past traumas and scars. Daniel was determined to figure her out. Secrets, funny moments, new friendships and romance join those...
Tes stood in the street watching the tall building as if it was going to swallow her. She had two options, be brave enough and face her reality or turn around and walk to the nearest hotel, lay in bed and let her sorrows eat her alive just like the last four days. The shitty weather in London didn't help at all, it was dark and rainy. When her life became a story out of a sad romantic movie? She didn't know.
She took a deep breath, woman up and crossed the street. From there to his door it was all a blur until she was in front of his actual door, a couple of metres from him. With shaky fingers she rang the bell. -Jesus, I'm pathetic.- She won't ring a second time. If he was home, great, if he wasn't, too bad. Finally it was February meaning she went to London, two days later than they agreed on. What was she gonna do if he didn't open his door? Leave a note? Saying what? "I stopped by, don't know why and what for actually." Her brain was running wild and she chickened out. She touched the lift button multiple times, as if it was going to be there faster, when the door opened and she froze.
Daniel stood there, one hand on the door and the other picking the skin around his short nails, as Tes was a couple of feets from him, her shaky hands with nail polish all picked up hidden from him in her coat. Both of them looked and felt like shit, none of them said anything for a couple of minutes only looking at each other.
-You- Daniel cleared his throat and stood straight. -You are here.

Tes nodded. -I'm still trying to figure out if it's a mistake or not.
His heart was beating so fast it could jump out of his chest and fall right at her feets, leaving up to her the decision of whether to pick it up and keep it or step on it and walk away.
-You wanna come in and finish figuring it out?- He opened his door more for her and moved aside. Without saying a word she walked into his house.
It was just how she remembered it but somehow it felt empty, dark and sad. A clear example of how Daniel felt inside. The pouring rain outside was the only thing that could be heard. Tes sat at the closest sofa from the door, in case everything went southways and she needed to run away. After a couple of seconds Daniel followed her lead and sat on the sofa next to her, leaving space between them. Months before in those same square metres they were sleeping in the same bed, all were smiles and laughs but now they couldn't even look at the others eyes and the silence was eating them inch by inch. How the fuck they were in that position? Simple, miscommunication.
Daniel was tapping his feet on the floor anxiously while Tes pinched her leg, surely it would form bruises on her skin. All he wanted to say was "Please say something, anything." but he knew that if he opened his mouth his voice would come out all broken. And it was the same case with her. She was trying to form a fucking full sentence in her brain but all the words were missing.
God only knows how much time after she took a long deep breath, that made him shut his eyes tightly preparing him for the impact, and talked.
If Tes was going to open her heart for him, again, and let him see everything, again, might as well do it quick and ripe the band-aid. -A couple of days after our facetime where I was with Miley, Jake came unannounced and uninvited to my house high off his mind and said the same bullshit he always says. Nothing happened, I put him in his place for the first time and that's it. That article was trash, those photos were trash, he is trash. He is out of my life for good. And I didn't see that article until days after, I was so caught up recording and stuff like that. Maybe it would have been better if I told you what happened but I just wanted to forget his existence in my life.- She let the words skunk it and didn't say anything else.
