School hadn't begun just yet, it had only been 7:25 and the sun was barely up. Jungkook sat down at a vacant table and sighed. He hated school but what he really hated was school in a new environment.
High school seemed annoying already to him. It was way too early and all he wanted to do was crawl into a whole and stay there.
Waking up Sunday morning, he had expected to be sprawled out on his bed, completely unaware of anything that happened the night before. Instead, he found himself in a sitting position on the ground with Namjoon laying down on the hard ground back first next to him.
The first few minutes was just straight confusion. The younger tried to remember how he got himself into that position and it wasn't until the elder began to stir and finally woke up. Namjoon picked his upper body on the ground and smiled at Jungkook sheepishly.
That smile. That smile was the same sheepish one from last night, and just like that everything came to him. It was like a shelf breaking from the weight of items carrying it and it all just came down so quickly.
Jungkook couldn't even look at his hyung, he immediately got up and ran upstairs without saying a word. He didn't bother to check to see if his friends who were still knocked out on the couch were okay, he just ran to his room and stayed inside the whole day freaking out silently.
Jungkook hadn't come out of his room that whole day, making excuses that he was sick so he wouldn't have to come out and show his face. He didn't want Namjoon to remember, he himself didn't want to remember. It was something that he was hoping was his imagination and didn't happen for real.
Fast forward to about 24 hours later and here he was on his first day of high school, still hoping it was his imagination.
"Jungkook!" A familiar husky voice was heard and his heart immediately dropped. He turned away from the voice, acting as if he didn't hear him.
Taehyung excitedly made his way to the younger who's back was facing him. His head had been down and his arms were covering his face.
Tae glanced at his boyfriend who shrugged. It was nothing new to see the youngest tired. He had always somehow been sleepy, no matter how much sleep this kid got.
They both sat down beside Jungkook and the elder shook him gently. "Hey, Kook."
"Hm?" He responded, not bothering to look up. Just the two of them there had begun to make him sweat.
"How'd you get to school today?" Namjoon finally spoke and his voice caused Jungkook to start feeling chills. He couldn't understand why shit was getting weird, he had never reacted when Namjoon was around. He really needed to stop imagining things.
Jungkook sighed, he was getting irritated with himself. Why am I trying to hide from him? He asked himself before swiftly lifting his head up to look Namjoon in the eyes.
