Chapter 4

Sasuke pov:

I sat up in an unfamiliar bed, next to my dog, i looked around the room and realized i wasn't even home. I stood and stretched, yawning as well. I was at sakura's home. I remember i offered to stay the night with her, well me and shadow. I guess i came to bed after sakura left for sleep. I also remember how good her food was, now that i think about it, I've never complimented someones food let along a woman's like this other than my mother's.

I walked inside the area we sat last night where sakura was cooking.

I made myself known to her as she welcomed with a smile.

"Good morning" she said happily.

"Morning"

"Im making breakfast, since you like tomatoes i went for a omelette with tomato a basil leaves and extra cheese" she said handing me the plate.

"Thank you" i said looking down at the perfectly made food. I brought it to her living room sitting down and as soon as i did, shadow came and sat directly infront of me, his tail wagging as his tongue slipped a few times.

"Get your own, im sure she made you something" i said to him as he whimpered.

"Aww don't be so mean to him..come on boy i did make you something" sakura said as shadow walked over to her.

After sakura served shadow she came over to sit by me when hard knocks were heard at her door.

I stopped mid- bite into my omelette as sakura placed her plate on the coffee table and got up and walked to where the knocks continued.

Shadow began barking at the loud noise as sakura opened the door.

"Is there a dog in here Mrs Haruno?"  A man said.

"Is that why your obnoxious ass is banging on my door at five o'clock in the morning?" She said back.

"You know just as well as everyone else in this building that animals are not allowed here! You think just because you're some rich doctor that rules don't apply to you! Well news flash sweetheart they apply!"

At this point this guy was too aggressive so i joined the conversation.

"Sasuke..it's fine..i deal with this all the time from him"

"Who is he?" I asked.

"Mike a neighbor of mine" she said annoyed.

"Who is this? Your boyfriend?! Look here buddy... I don't give a damn who you are she can't have a fucking dog here!" He said.

"Look I'm going to need you to calm down.. the dog is mine"

"And who the hell do you think you are to have dogs here?"

"I'm Detective Sasuke Uchiha with the Konoha Police department, the dog is a k-9 for the unit, Doctor haruno here is under protective detail under me and the dog due to her involvement with a ongoing investigation, so thats who the hell i think i am, your front desk has been notified, so unless you're a manager or supervisor I advise you to not bang on someone's door like you have authority or I'll gladly book your ass for disturbing the peace" i said.

Said man grunted as he walked away and sakura closed her door.

"Thank you sasuke, I've been dealing with that asshole since i moved here, he didn't take rejection well i see" she said as she walked past me.

"What do you mean?"

"When i first moved here, he would try to basically shoot his shot with me, but I always rejected him, and ever since he's been a dick"
