Chapter 35

Sakura pov:

"This just end at Konoha's very own hospital, the building has collapsed with more than 100 patients and staff inside the building" a news reporter said. " right now we have ambulances lined up from different hospitals outside of konoha and the fire department investigating as well as trying to find survivors but it seems there aren't any- wait" she said as she touched her ear and i looker at her anxiously. "Okay everyone watching at home it just end there are two survivors who managed the blast, two cops.." she said as my eyed widened.

Mikoto and the others eventually came to the scene so i left sarada with her as i walked back up to the tape watching as the firemen walked with a stretcher.

One had naruto on it, his face covered in ash as well as his body and his clothes tattered.

"N-naruto" hinata said running up close with himawari on her hip and boruto by her side.

"Hinata, you heard?"

"Y-yes" she said with bloodshot eyes. "H-he told me he was leaving today and that he'd be in the field, but when i heard what happened i rushed here" she said turning her attention back to her husband who coughed violently.

"Here's the other cop" a firefighter said as i snapped my head in their direction to see sasuke in the same state as naruto.

Tears brimming my eyes seeing him in such a state.

"Papa!" Sarada said as she was quickly under the tape by sasuke's side. Of course i was right behind her.

"Hey you two can't be here" the firefighter said.

"Sir i am the head doctor of this hospital and this is my husband, i can be here" i said as he began to stand down.

"Papa, you're hurt" sarada said crying.

"I..I'm fine..."

"Sasuke don't move too much stay still please" i said kneeling down checking his body.

"Unbelievable" i muttered as he looked at me.

"W...what?" He asked.

"You don't seem to have any broken bones or anything" i said examining every inch of his body.

"The dobe...he managed to get us somewhere quickly nothing really fell on us.. well it did but nothing life concerning.. we did inhale alot of smoke..i think naruto has a few burns"

"Thats all i see on you too, minor burns and cuts...i do say..you two were extremely lucky" i said not looking in his eyes.

"Sakura..look at me" sasuke said with a raspy weak voice as my eyes clashed with his.

"I don't want to cry..w-we almost lost you...I thought I was always prepared for this but knowing that building collapsed with you in it not knowing whether you were dead or not scared me...i-i thought.." i was cut off by sasuke pulling me down hugging me.

"I love you pinky" he said into the crook of my neck as i wrapped my arms around him carefully. "I love ... you too" i said shaking crying.

"I love you too papa" sarada said joining in as he pulled her in close.

The two were soon loaded into a ambulance where they were taken to a near by clinic, and we the family of both parties followed and went with them.

Sasuke and naruto were both placed in the same room where hinata and her kids sat beside him in the room as we the uchiha family were beside sasuke.
