"... Dad why are you putting so muuuch?" Kam asked through a giggle as Ermias spread the moisturizing lotion across his face making sure he didn't miss a spot,"Cause I gotta' make sure my boy I ain't out here lookin' all ashy. You wanna' look ashy Killa'?"
Like the goofy kid he is, Kam continued giggling and shaking his head,"No but I don't wanna look shiny either."
"The shinier you are, the better boy. Excuse me, let me put this up," Stepping back out of the way, Kameron watched his father put the lotion back underneath the bathroom cabinet where they usually keep it. "Go get the shoes you wanna' wear so I can help you put 'em on."
"Okay!" Skipping out of his bathroom, Kameron jogged down the hallway to his room. While he searched for the shoes he wanted to wear, Ermias went into he and Karlae's master bathroom to check on her and Leilani.
Leilani was throwing a fit in the bath tub, giving her mom hell. "Mommy I wanna' get out! The water is too wet!"
"Leilani– I– okay," Karlae shook her head and exhaled deeply,"How is the water too wet Lani? Mommy doesn't understand."
"I just don't like it."
"Well you have to take a bath babe," Karlae told her calmly, lathering her body with soap to make sure her baby got squeaky clean for bed. "I'll get you out in a minute okay?"
"No I wanna' get out right now!" Leilani began to shout through a high pitched voice, stomping her feet in the bath water making it splash all over Karlae's mouth, neck, and the top of her shirt. "Get me out mommy!"
"Is she seri— are you serious?" Karlae laughed in Lani's face as she threw her typical toddler tantrums. Finally Ermias chimed in to make his presence known,"Lani you gotta take a bath, come on now."
"The water is too wet daddy!" She cried out, dramatically throwing her head back hoping to get Ermias to quickly get her out since her mom wouldn't. Usually when Karlae told her no for something, Lani went running to her daddy to get her way. "This is the worst day of my life!"
"I'm done," Karlae began to laugh even harder, saying 'fuck it' mentally and rinsing Leilani off. "Ermias you better come get this little girl. Talkin' about this the worst day of her life. She's two. Where she hear that at?"
"You know these kids ahead of they time," He chuckled, grabbing Lani's towel to help her out since Karlae left her to throw her fit in the tub. Drying her ownself off in the mirror, she wiped her neck clean and side eyed Lani,"I can't believe you just did all of that Leilani. That's why you about to go to bed early. I was gonna' let you stay up with me."
