Author's POV
Just like what Seoyeon said, that wasn't the first time Namjoon acted that way. It actually started when his wife died. Ever since Seyoung died, he would occasionally dream of the incident, making him have chills and nightmares of being left by her. Unfortunately, he grew to fear being left, that it affected his chances of finding a new partner. And whenever he experience the nightmares, he would end up crying for his late wife. But that's not the only reason, because his phobia of closed space adds up as another reason. When it occurs, he couldn't control his sudden burst of emotions, which leads him to act like a pitiful child. In some cases, he would drink sleeping pills to be able to go back to sleep again, but somehow, Seoyeon's presence made Namjoon feel tranquil. He eventually fell asleep while grasping her hand tightly in his.
Seoyeon, on the other hand, just watched Namjoon as he began to wander in his dreamland. She elbowed the side table and rested her chin on her palm. It made her frown, remembering what just happened a while ago. He looked so scared. Her gaze then went to their hands that are still intertwined. It looked as if he's holding his favourite teddy bear. She could feel his heartbeat as the back of her hand lies gently on his chest. The calm rhythm of his breathing and the sniffles he occasionally make due to crying so much. A yawn left her lips again, as her eyes began to feel heavy, but she squeezed her eyes shut for a second.
"Come on, don't fall asleep." She mumbled inaudibly to herself, not wanting to wake Namjoon from his slumber.
Her usual out from work is around 6 o'clock. Checking the wall clock from afar, there is only five minutes left. She sighed silently through her nose and stared back at Namjoon. Something is urging her to caress his hair, let her fingers brush through his brown locks, but she sat still. While waiting for her time to leave, she would try to carefully pull her hand from Namjoon's hold, but her attempts were failed because Namjoon kept on shifting his position. Holding her hand tightly, as if he doesn't want to lose it.
"Five more minutes won't hurt." She whispered as she glance at the clock and saw that it's already six o'clock.
Seoyeon decided to rest her elbow and lie her head down, using it as her alternative pillow. Occasionally, she would still try to untangle his fingers. A sigh leaves her lips everytime it goes unsuccessful. It went on and on until Seoyeon lost track of time. Tiredness and drowsiness started to crawl all over her body, that she accidentally fell asleep.

Feeling a little thirsty, Namjoon began to shift from his position. It has been a couple of hours since he fell asleep. Little by little, Namjoon starts to get his senses back until he felt his palm got a bit sweaty. Slowly, he realizes he's holding someone that made him open his eyes abruptly. Seeing nothing but darkness, he tried to reach for the lamp switch and the sudden strike of light made him narrow his sight until he was able to adjust. That's when the sight of Seoyeon welcomed him. She's sitting on the stool and her head is lying on her elbow that is resting at the edge of the bed. Namjoon's eyes went back to his hand that is still holding Seoyeon's slimmer hand.
"W-Why...." He mumbled, brows furrowed, as he tries to remember what happened before he fell asleep. "Fudge...." All that he was able to mouth after realizing he got a panic attack, which resulted for him to use Seoyeon as his refuge since she was there when it happened.
He looked at Seoyeon again and felt sorry to see her state. Not wanting to wake her up, he slowly let go of her hand and tried to move aside as he does. When he successfully did, he then scooted himself at the edge of the bed and carefully stood up. He walked over his huge drawer and took a clean blanket before returning to the side of the bed, where Seoyeon is. Namjoon can already see how painful it will be for Seoyeon's back once she wakes up, from how wrong her posture is right now. Quickly, an idea came to Namjoon's mind so he put down the blanket and went to the sofa of his room. It's convertible, so he turned it into a bed and fixed the pillows there. He then went back and had fight with his mind on how he could bring Seoyeon to the sofa-bed without waking her up.
