Chapter 59

Author's POV

He continued to flip the pages until he found another note. The date is today, their picnic day. He was about to read the message but not a word left his mouth after seeing what was written. Seoyeon looked at him and saw that he seemed like he did a pause.

"What's wrong?" She asked, but Namjoon was still speechless. "What did the note say?" She added knowingly, earning a gaze from him.

"This is not a joke, right?" He asked in a serious tone.

"Do I look like I'm joking?" She smirked, "Go on, read it." She encouraged, so he took a deep breath and gazed back at the note written on this page.

"Today...." He began, hands shaking, "Is the day that I'm going to say those three words that signifies what my heart wanted to say to you."

"I love you." She spoke ever softly, and Namjoon could feel his eyes welling with tears as he looked back at her.

He released a sharp exhale as a wide smile was seen on his face. "C-Can you say that again? I-I think I'm deaf." He chortled as he sniffled, making Seoyeon smile warmly at him.

She cupped his face and wiped the tears on his cheek as she says, "I love you, Namjoon."

Namjoon then held her hand and pressed is against his cheek, "I love you so much, Seoyeon." And more tears fell as he melts under her touch. "I love you." He repeated while smiling lovingly at her, giving her hand a kiss. "I'll show you how worthy I am to receive your love. Thank you for giving me a chance. I love you, Seoyeon."

"I'll hold onto your words, Namjoon. I love you, too." She replied as she caressed his cheeks and Namjoon can't help but to giggle slightly everytime he hears her say those words.

"Can I be yours, Seoyeon?" He asked, his smile never left his lips on how happy he is right now.

"As long as you let me be yours, too." She chuckled and Namjoon nodded immediately.

"Am I your boyfriend now?" Namjoon asked eagerly.

"Yes. You're my boyfriend now and from this day forward." She confirmed, but didn't expect what Namjoon did next.

He got out of the car and shouted, "I'm Park Seoyeon's boyfriend and I love her so much!" And his shout caught some attention.

"Oh my goodness. Namjoon, get inside." She called, but it seems like he couldn't hear her so she went out of the car and to Namjoon. "Hey, you're getting attentions." She said as she laughed at his randomness.

"I just want the whole world to know that I'm yours." He uttered sheepishly with his bashful dimpled-smile, as he placed his arms around her waist.

"You are full of surprises," She said out of amusement, then rest her head on his chest and smiled when she felt his heart beat.

"Should we call each other with an endearment?" He asked all of a sudden, causing for Seoyeon to look up at him.

"Endearment? Like what?" She queried.

"Love or Honey." He smiled, "We can use Hon as well. Whatever you want to use."

"I like Love. Can we use that?" And Namjoon nodded in approval.

"My love," He called dearly and leaned closer to kiss her forehead.

Seoyeon then nuzzled her nose against his, making him grin. They stared into each other's eyes and it felt as if everything stopped revolving around them. They're the only one they see. Their eyes were filled with love and happiness.
