Ch6: What Break Up?

"let me tell you, she refuses to get a new boyfriend after you two broke up" Lincoln said, Benny suddenly stopped to think; what break up?

"hey Benny! you know what collage you're gonna take?" a young and adorable 18-year-old Luan asked "well, I really want to take nursing as my major" Benny replied as he opened his locker "nursing? I thought you wanted to be an actor" Luan said "I do, but I don't think I'm not meant to be an actor" Benny said "no no no! you are one of the many reasons why I joined the theatre club! and I see you destroy every role!" Luan said "oh yeah? are you sure you didn't join because you wanted to spend time with me?" Benny teased "not gonna lie, she wouldn't eat or sleep without thinking why you didn't came to mime practice with her" Luan covered the mouth of her wooden dummy that she controls.

"where are you going to collage?" Luan asked "I don't know any good collages in Royal Woods that specials in meds, so…" Benny slowly showed her a flyer "Ivy States?! that's so far!" Luan whined, Benny closed his locker and held her hand as they walked off "I know! but after we graduate, we can be together! get a house and 2 kids!" Benny said "just 2?" Luan raised her eyebrow, gesturing that she disapproves "then how many would you want?" Benny asked "11 like hers!" her puppet joked "NO! um, maybe less than 7?" Luan blushed.

"okay, after we graduate, we meet up, get married and have a house with 5 kids, happy?" Benny teased and Luan laughed "how about you? what collage are you taking?" Benny asked "I don't know yet, but I am taking culinary arts" Luan replied "don't get me wrong, I love comedy with the bottom of my heart and soul! but I gotta be realistic, I'm not gonna survive as a comedian" Luan said "my dad says I'm really great with cooking, so he suggested that I take over the resturant with Lynn" Luan added.

"I'm gonna miss you when you're in Ivy States" Luan said "it's so far… and nursing takes probably a decade of learning…" Luan mumbled "hey, after I graduate, I'm gonna head straight back to Royal Woods!" Benny said "and I'm gonna kiss you until you're dead! like mwah mwah mwah!" Benny grabbed Luan's face and giving her kisses on her forehead, cheeks and every inch oh her face "Benny! stop stop stop! I'm ticklish! stop it!" Luan laughed and Benny stopped, leaving one last kiss on her lips "I promise, I would always think of you in Ivy States" Benny said and they shared a hug.

"well, that's that! bye Benny! get home safe" Lincoln said making Benny blinked back to reality "yeah… see ya Link!" Benny waved bye and walked back to his respectful home. he comes home and eats a small snack before going to his bedroom. he lays in his bed and tried to remember; what break up?

"CONGRATS BENNY BUNNY!" Luan jumpped onto Benny's arms giving him a tight hug "congrats to you too! we finally finished senior year!" Benny said "praise the Lord! oh my gosh, I feel… nothing" Luan joked and Benny laughed "what did we learn during senior year? I don't remember anything" Luan joked "well, we learned that there are more types of calculators" Benny said "we learned… umm… oh yeah, what did we learned?" Benny added making Luan laugh "oh! we learned that prom was the most fun and stressful memory of our lives" Benny said and Luan groaned "don't get me started on prom… the dress I was wearing was so umcomfortable!" Luan complained "like seriously! it was so umcomfortable, I thought my blood stopped flowing by how tight it was!" Luan added and Benny laughed.

"you looked really pretty with that dress" Benny said, picturing his girlfriend with her hair down in a golden sleeveless gown, a red rose made out of fabric pinned on her chest, it wasn't much but his happy with the simple Luan charm "oh no, that wasn't me, that was a stunt double" Luan joked and Benny bursted out laughing "0 out of 10, prom sucked!" Luan said "but the memories are something to remember, right?" Benny asked "sure, memories of how some idiots turned the phrase butterflies in your stomach into baby kicks in your stomach" Luan said then laughed.

"I don't get it"

"you don't have to, you're too innocent to understand"

"why does everyone calls me innocent?!"

"because they know you're my Baby Benny" Luan teased, pinching his cheek "but yeah… prom was fun with you" Luan said as she blushed. the two of them quiet down until they waited for Benny's plane to arrive "are you going to remember me?" Luan asked "of course! why would I? you're my girlfriend!" Benny replied "even for a year?" Luan asked "uh huh!" Benny nodded "how about 3 years?" Luan asked "never forget you!" Benny replied "knock knock" Luan said "who's there?" Benny asked "you said you'd remember me…" Luan faked a cry but they laughed instead, the announcer called the passengers to get in for the plane to Ivy States.

"that's my queue!" Benny said as he stood up "you forgot something" Luan said as she grabbed her bag and looked for it "uh… hold on…" Luan said while patting her pockets "oh! found it!" Luan said and she showed Benny her index connected with her thumb forming a little heart "keep my love safe!" Luan said and Benny chuckled "I will" Benny said, they shared one last hug followed to one last kiss then slowly lets go of her last hand held. Benny waved bye and Luan shred a tear while waving bye at him, she wiped it off and puts on a smile to set a reminder that she'll always be happy.

Benny buried his face onto his pillow and wondered what happened before he left Royal Woods, he didn't understand why Luan forget about their relationship, they made so many memories that made it impossible to forget. so he asked himself one last time; what break up?
