Part 6

It had been two weeks since Steve told Natasha he loved her and even though she couldn't tell Steve she loved him back. She knew that one day she'd be able to. A matter a fact over the course of the past few weeks she'd been falling for him more and more. She had decided to take a small break from her 'plan' and just be the wife she's 'supposed' to be.

Natasha went into their bedroom where Steve was still sleeping. For someone that got up early everyday, he sure could sleep longer than she could. Going up to him, Natasha rubbed his bare shoulder and pecked his lips to wake him up.

"Good morning" she said in soft tone

"Good morning beautiful" he said in his husky morning voice with a small smile

"I made breakfast" she said

He smiled and grabbed her hand "I want to stay here. With you in my arms"

Natasha rolled her eyes "come on. Your gonna be hungry later. Now come on" she said as she dragged him out of bed

"You want to go for a swim" Steve asked her as they were putting dishes away after dinner

"Sure. Just let me put on a swim suit" she replied

He nodded and they both went their separate ways to put their swimsuits on. Natasha went into the bathroom and changed into a blue bikini. When she came out Steve was nowhere in sight so she decided she'd wait for him by the pool. Natasha put her feet in the water and all the sudden there was a big splash. Natasha looked up and realized Steve had just jumped of the roof into the pool.

Natasha laughed

"You coming in" he asked as he whipped the water from his face

"No. I think I'll just get my feet wet" she replied

Steve clearly wasn't having that. Because he came up to where Natasha was sitting and taking her legs he pulled her into the pool. As Natasha emerged from the water their eyes locked blue meeting green. They stayed like that for a moment neither of them realizing how close they were until Steve cupped her face in his hands and slammed his lips on hers in a passionate kiss. As Natasha pulled away for air she blushed as she leaned her forehead against his.

"I guess it's a good thing I pushed you in" Steve said with a smirk on his face

"I guess so" she replied with a small smile

The next day as Natasha was laying down on the couch flipping through TV stations she got a call from Pepper and quickly answered it.

"Hey, is everything ok" Natasha asked worried as she picked up the phone

"Yeah. Everything is fine. I just wanted to know how things were going" she replied

Natasha rolled her eyes and sighed "did you or are you calling for Tony"

"A little bit of both" she replied

"Things are good. We're good" Natasha replied nonchalantly

"Have you two...you know. Done it" she asked

"No. We haven't. We still need to get there" Natasha replied

Pepper nodded "okay. Well. I'll tell Tony your okay. He's been really worried about you. You know" she said

"Yeah. I know" she replied with a sigh

The truth is she knows it was Tony's idea. but she always knew he would second guess it, that's just who he is. The guy who had to take care of her and Clint after their parents untimely death. The one person in the world her and Clint could count on for anything.
