School was over and I was heading to the Ice Cream parlor.

I entered the crowded place surveying around,hoping to catch one particular person’s eye.I was seating alone in my usual booth when I finally saw her. She was serving a table full of exited  children.But throughout the loud noises she still manage to keep a forced smile on. 

I watch her struggle to bring the plate full of goodies to the table while the children were circling around her. She looked like she was about to explode. Imagine when she sees me.

I decided it was time to let my presence known.I taped the bell on my table,signaling her to come.When she saw me her face completely changed into an angry expression. She went to ask someone else to take my order but the person refused.Good for them because I would still have ask for Annabelle.

She unwillingly walked to my table forcing a smile on her face.

“Welcome to ‘Ice Baby’  what can I get you?”

“Ummm, I don’t know yet. Can I have the menu?”

“Why? You always order cookies and cream,and then a strawberry milkshake.” 

“ Well,I’ve been wanting to change flavors. I didn’t know you were keeping tracks of my-“

“I’m not,your just predictable.”

“ Yeah, that didn’t sound like it.”

“What  did it sound like then?” She rolled her eyes.

“It sounded like you knew everything about me, as if you were obsess with me.” I whispered,smirking at her pissed off expression.

She huffed and turned on her heels walking towards another table full of jocks. They were making cat calls at her. And I know what you’re thinking. ‘Wait,isn’t he a jock too?’ 

The truth is,yes,yes I am, but I’m a decent one. I won’t cat call someone in public. Frankly I don’t need that.

“ Come here baby.” One whistle.

“Oooh look at those legs.”

“Hey,I can only imagine what could be between those legs brother.” One cracked a joke making everyone explode with laughter.

I could tell it annoyed Annabelle just like it annoyed me. They were probably a bunch of freshman thinking they were the new hot stuff because they probably had the first bang in their life yesterday.

I frustrated me. What happened to humility? Okay so I’m not that humble but chicks seem to dig my ‘jerk’ attitude.

One was starring at Annabelle’s ass the whole time she was trying to take their order.I saw his hand lifting up as if he was ready to smack something.
