I was inside my car jamming to Drake’s song,when I spotted a mop of blond hair going up the front stairs.

I got out my Range rover and started walking towards her.But just as I was about to call her name someone brusquely appeared in front of me.

“Vincent Hale!”

Huh, Mary Jane.

“Mary Jane.” I say tightly.

“Have you thought about my offer?”

“What offer?”

“About going to homecoming with me.”She squints her eyes at me.

“Oh that.Not really,I still haven’t decided if I wanted to go.”I told her absentmindedly ,surveying Annabelle.

Suddenly she was stopped by none other than Nick effing Scott.I grit my teethes.I don’t think my dislike for this guy could be compare to anything else.

I just-

“Vincent Hale! Are you listening to me!’”Mary Jane snaps at me.

I came out off my daze and gazed down at her.She was particularly annoying today.This girl needs to get laid,but unfortunately for her I wasn’t  cruel enough to send a guy to this torture.

“I need to do something Mary.Can I call you Mary?”I smile at her painfully.

Her face instantly lightens up. “Of course you can give me a nickname Vincent Ha-Vincent.”She smiles at me.

Works every time. 

“Bye Mary.” I tell her placing a kiss on her forehead before leaving.

I knew I was playing with fire right there,but really,I kind of liked getting burned.

I continue to walk inside the school passing by BMN and Nick without a second glance.

I don’t even know why I was chasing her down but seeing her with Nick had totally put some perspectives.

“Hey Vince!”Marcus shouts.I walk to the group of guys that stood in front of my locker.

“Wassup?” 

“We were just talking about the upcoming game.Apparently coach has decided to let Nick play in the striker position along side you.”

“Great.”I roll my eyes.Playing with someone on the first line means that you need a good sense of camaraderie,that person should be able to tell your next move before you even do it.And Nick and I are just not a perfect match.
