We were lying on the couch, almost an hour had past and I was…well…satisfied.I looked over at Claire, her eyes were twinkling,she had a small smile on her mouth.I found myself feeling confused.How is it that I was still here?Normally after getting what I want and seeing the sickening ‘I’m falling for you’ face,I run for the hills. So how is it that I’m not out the door yet.
Something was different.I felt different,I didn’t feel the need to escape,to run from what could possibly be the beginning of a relationship.And I’m not talking about that three weeks time bullshit.
Could Claire really be the one I’ve been seeking for,someone who understands me on so many levels.
“I think you should go.” Claire says.
“What? Why?” I questioned.
“Because Marcus’s mom will be here soon. I won’t have her find us like that.” She got up from the couch and started dressing herself.
I followed her lead.
“It’s the first time I’m being thrown out of a house after sex.” I say smiling.
“Well, there’s a first time for everything buddy.” She smiles cheekily back at me before grabbing my arm and leading me towards the front door.
“I think you surprise me more and more everyday.”
“Good because otherwise It would’ve been boring.”
“I can’t imagine a relationship with you could be boring.”
“Well, your right.Wait does that mean we’re in a relationship?” She raised an eyebrow.
“Well, If you’re asking me out I have to say yes.” I smirk,she smacks my chest.
“Don’t flatter yourself.”
“Fine. Claire Summers will you go out with me?”
“Will you get better in bed?”
My face dropped. “What?”
“I was kidding babe.” She laugh pecking me. I relaxed.
“Maybe not.” She closes the door and I can still hear her booming laugh. I shake my head.
Of course I’m good in bed,I’ve had many experiences and they were all screaming my name.
A voice in my head reminds me,that Claire didn’t scream.
Okay so maybe she’s just the quiet type. That doesn’t mean anything. Right?!
Right?!
Oh gosh now she has me all confused.My self esteem is at zero.
