They told us there were complications from the accident.

They told us her brain was swelling.

They told us she was dying.

Now she's in a coma.

She has a week to wake up.

If she doesn't, they can't keep her alive.

They'll pull the plug.

And she'll die.

Without Louis remembering her at all.

I went to visit her, with Liam, Niall, Robin, and a now-sober Zayn.

I couldn't handle it.

She looked so . . . dead.

She collapsed two days ago.

I told Louis' mum yesterday.

I haven't heard anything from Louis or his mum since yesterday evening, when I called.

I don't even know how Louis is taking it.

I'm sitting in the waiting room at the hospital now.

I can't go home, I can't leave her here.

But I can't be in that room.

I'm sitting in the waiting room when Paul walks in.

He's here with two people.

One of them is a girl I don't recognise.

The other makes me think I've gone temporarily insane.

I blink.

He's still there.

It's Louis.

Mum made me wait until the morning to come and see Callin.

I didn't sleep.

I tried.

I think I might have gotten an hour.
