Chapter Three Haven
Carma was calmer now even though he’d just had a blade stabbed into his face. He was continuing to mumble ‘Vanessa I’m sorry’ but besides that he was out cold. I was sorry for him not just the fact he was hurting just because he had to deal with a bitch like Vanessa. Was he brainwashed by her or something? I touched was lips with my index finger just lightly feeling him breathe lightly touch my skin. Just knowing he was sensitive made me smile? I was too soft. “Haven.......” He sighed before gasping in pain.
He said my name. Why did I feel so amazed and flattered? I didn’t know what to do...
I awoke with a massive headache and pains in my leg were Carma rested his head. Thinking of Carma made me wonder where he was. I panicked retrieving to my feet in a rush. “Carma!” I yelled painfully.
I heard nothing but the wind blowing against my ears. I made my way into the forest following the sound of a waterfall. I gasped. “Sorry!” I gasped loudly turning away from the crystal clear water.
Carma stood naked in the water luckily the water reached just over his hips. “Never seen a guy naked?” He said with a sign of humour.
I didn’t answer. “You haven’t!” Carma laughed loudly scaring away the birds from all nearby trees. “How old does that make you then, Hum?” He asked me. “Fifteen...” I mumbled embarrassed.
I couldn’t see a reaction, I didn’t know if he was even there. Every guy I told my real age to either “disappeared” or just doesn’t notice me anymore. I closed my eyes and let one tiny tear roll down my face. The world suddenly felt so cold and alone again. I felt something cold touch my neck. I turned to see Carma resting his lips on my skin. “So you wouldn’t know how true love feels like then would you?” He asked me tightening his arms around my waist. “No...” I whispered.
Carma’s lips attached to mine and the sensation of my first kiss made my heart pound like crazy. The soft pleasure of our lips moving in time with each other was yummy. The heat, the taste just him being next to me was the most delicate perfect time of my life. “Carma.” I murmured.
“Your past?” I asked as I pressed my cheek against Carma’s bare torso.
He seemed off edge like he didn’t want to tell me much about himself even though I had just opened up about most of my life. “It’s unimportant,” Carma said thinking of a new topic for us to discuss. “Why don’t you spit it out? It can’t be as embarrassing as mine” I laughed trying to lighten this depressing mood.
Carma rose from lying against the flowers to sit next to me. He placed his hand in mine before sighing. “It’s what you might say or do once I tell you, and I’m not losing you Haven.” He said before kissing me again.
