Chapter Two Haven's Beginning...
Isn’t the world perfect? The sky was twilight and the clouds were stunning. I was only wearing my soft white thigh length silk dress. Just the sensation of lying on field of flowers made me smile. The delicate tingle of the petals touching my skin and the breeze rustling threw my hair. The night sky was turning a orange a bright red. The colour was off putting but still magnetic in the same sense. The earth rumbled from under me.
The distance showed a shadow of a man coming over the blossomed hills. He was dressed all in black but only wearing dark faded jeans and a charcoaled leather vest, no shirt nothing to keep the chilled wind of his spectacular skin. He approached with complete emotionless white eyes and faded blood coloured lips. He was holding a long sword, my eyes widened and my body moved back automatically away from the blade. “Don’t” I whimpered as he continued to follow.
He suddenly stopped before muttering something to quiet for human ears. It looked like he was arguing to himself. I slowly rose from sitting to a near crouch, As if he could read my mind he turned at that moment. “Don’t bother to even attempt to run Luna.” He threatened
Luna? I was going to correct him but I was afraid. Instead of listening I started to run. The frightened side of me running for my life made me start to feel fainter then I would normally be. I didn’t want to look behind me just in case. I’d been able to make it just to the forest entrance before falling to my knees. The sound of footsteps approached me. “No...” I sobbed. “Please don’t hurt me,” I whimpered. “Why would I do that Luna?” His hypnotic voice brought my eyes to his.
He was a perfect model for society with the gorgeous looks department everything was complete the only misfortune was a cut along the inner left eye to the cheek. But the scar just made him that little more mysterious. “My names Haven, Not Luna!” I shouted annoyed.
He seemed to not understand. “But I am your Carma, No! This can’t be! Your Luna...” He yelled starting to quiver.
I leaned into his arms. “You seem lost” Someone from behind laughed in a cruel childish voice.
Carma didn’t move an inch. “Come on stupid! Kill her” It was a women’s voice.
Carma tuned to see the master pieced women standing over him. Her black silky hair was hip length and just by the way she stood I knew she had an attitude. “Vanessa...” Carma mumbled dumping me to the grass floor before bowing down to him knee’s to her.
She looked at him unimpressed before drawing out a long sword blade. “Kill her. My love...” She whispered into his ear before throwing her weapon at him.
He stared at the sword for a moment before shaking his head. “Why not!” She yelled in disproval.
Carma looked down in shame. What was his problem?!? Carma was a grown man but why was he bowing down to a bitch? Vanessa looked as if she wanted an answer and wanted it right now. “I cannot kill her she is too much like Luna.” Carma tried to explain. “I do not care!” Vanessa shrieked before picking up the sword and digging it into the scare already tattooed into his face.
She walked away in a huff leaving him screaming in pain lying in my arms...
