Chapter 13- The Date part 2

"That's it" he said "I was going to save this for the last part of tonight but we'll do it now" It was about 8:30 pm when we got off the swan. Hoseok grabbed my hand and he lead me into this beautiful forest. I kept wondering if it was safe but I trusted Hoseok enough not to question him. He then stopped and covered my eyes with his hands.

"What are you doing, Hoseok?" I laughed. I love suprises.

"Nearly there" he said which just made my curiousty grow like wildfire. Where were we going? Suddenly, Hoseok stopped in his tracks and said "1" my heart was pounding "2" my legs felt like they were going to give in "3" his hands were off my eyes and I nearly screamed. There was a beautiful tent with string lights all around it and rose petals were scattered everywhere.

"How did you do all this?" was all I could managed to get out my mouth.

"I have connections" he joked with playful coolness, he then added "Anyway, sit down"

"I wanted to sing this song for you because it reminded me of you" he whispered and it made shivers fall down my spine. I was excited to hear him sing. When he told me he could, I kept wondering what he would sound like now was the moment of truth.

"Why do birds suddenly appear" his voice was smooth and angelic. I couldn't believe someone would sing this beautifully for me.

"Everytime you are near"

"Just like me, they long to be close to you"

"Why do stars fall down from the sky?"

"Everytime you walk by?"

"Just like me, they long to be close to you"

I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear.

"On the day that you were born the angels got together"

"And decided to create a dream come true"

Then for some reason I could tell the next line  wasn't a part of the lyrics

"I've sung this song to tell you that I am in love with you" he stopped singing and just stared into my eyes. I wasn't ready for what he said next. "I'm in love with you Laila since the first time I saw you" I didn't know what to say.

Could this be love? I didn't know what else to call this special connection. My eyes drifted to his lips. He grabbed my waist.Only our hearts could decide what we did next. It was like time stopped and we were seconds away from sealing this emotional bond that I don't think we could destroy. Suddenly, I felt soft lips crash down on mine like they couldn't wait any longer. I wrapped my arms around his neck. Every kiss felt magnetic and I don't know how I could live without it or how I've lived without it for so long.

Suddenly, I heard shouts and I realized something. "You snuck in here didn't you" I laughed so hard as I saw a passionate Hoseok turn into a sheepish Hoseok.

"Run" he yelled as we heard the voices getting closer and closer.

"I'm not a very fast runner" I said truthfully, remebering the time with Jimin and Jungkook.

"Here" he bent down "Get on my back." I hopped onto his back and he started running so fast. I know this is a pretty crappy reference but it was like that scene from twilight where Bella hops onto Edwards back and he goes at superhuman speed. By the time we got out of the forest, we looked like we had been on another rollercoaster. It was about 9:30 when we got out so we headed for the bus station. The bus ride home was pretty fun as we talked about all the rides we went on, his incredible singing, a debate on whos horse actually did win the race and ended on a bit of a sombre tone as he said he'll always protect me from that bully no matter what and put his arm around me.

He offered to pay for a taxi to my house but I didn't know how much it would cost so he went in the taxi with me anyway.Once we arrived at my house he said he had been to this area a few times if he was ever late for his bus so he knew a few bustops. Once out the taxi, I didn't want him to leave. I gazed up at his face and our lips met again. I ended the kiss quickly though afraid my mum might be watching. I turned to go to the door and then stopped dead in my tracks.

Sitting on my doorstep, sat a shivering Jungkook with flowers and doritos. I looked up at his face and saw a single tear drip down his cheek. I couldn't process it, I wouldn't process it. Jungkook liked me? No, I was just imagining things. Really, imagining things. He dropped the doritos and flowers and it made me have more of a sense of reality. So, Jungkook wanted ME to be his valentine? I was still in sort of shock over Hoseok even liking me in that way let alone Jungkook.

"Wait" I tried shouting at Jungkook but my voice was lost. Jungkook just went back the way he came in and closed the door number 25. I used to really like Jungkook in that way but after my date with Hoseok, I don't think I feel that way about him anymore.

Why was valentines day hurting so many people? I opened the door and heard snores coming from upstairs. I locked up the house and then went to bed, ready for a sleepless night.
