Will Things Ever be Normal?

The day after Drista woke up Clay seemed tierd but happy. "So how's the sister?" I asked him.

"Fuzzy," he said laughing at his own joke.

"Are you tierd, drunk, or high?" I responded.

"No, she got white werewolf ears and tail last night, there soft as hell,"  he said grinning. "She's meeting with the lords today to determine what's going to happen."

About then the afternoon announcements came on and we heard Ghostbur's voice, "What do you expect me to say! Hey kids we're going to war!... what... my mics on... FUCK." The announcements stopped from a second.

Everyone was just standing there shocked before Ghostbur came back, "Okay pleas forget the previously mentioned. Hello students! At the High Council meeting last night some of the lords formally declared war, so we are going to be taking safety precautions. I'll let you scream now." Scream was an understatement.

"Alright, now that that's out of the way, we are going to do a buddy system, everyone will be paired with a hunter or creature that has to be with the at all times if you are off campus, your teachers have received an email of your 'buddies.' Everyone will have to live on campus, and I think that's everything. Have a good day!" He closed it so cheerfully.

The teacher clapped their hands for everyone to calm down. "Alright, so he basically summed everything up so I'll call your names and your buddies."

She started calling names and I zoned out until she called me loudly, "Tommy for the fourth time, wake up."

"Sorry ma'am, just zoned out," I could hear Clay laughing behind me.

"Your partner is Drista," Clay's laughing quickly turned into a glare.

"Touch her and your dead," I heard him whisper.

"Clay, your partner is Georgenotfound," the teacher said. I got to laugh this time.

She finished homeroom by saying, "All of your partners will move in with you tonight and if they are at the right age they will also start classes with you. Dismissed."

Clay immediately came up to me. "Hey Clay," I greeted.

"Tommy, I swear on Ranboo's life if you even think about touching her I'll... she will probably break your spine," he said. I could tell if he was threatening me himself or on her behalf, but it didn't matter.

I held my hands up, "Promise, I quite like my spin to be in one peice."

I had 1st hour with Tubbo, "Who's your buddy?" I asked him.

"Don't know they forgot to give me one. I was told to go down to the office after classes. You?" He said nonchalantly.

"I got Clay's sister, Drista, the new werewolf lord," I told him smiling.

"So we're going to have to live with Clay's sister. We are either never going to see her, or always be seeing him," Tubbo said sighing. "What do you think of all this?"

"I think that they just want free housing but it is also for safety measures, Ghostbur is an asshole, not an idiot," I told him truthfully.

"Glad I'm not the only one," Nikki said from behind us.

"Hey Nikki," Tubbo said.

"You said you don't know who your partner is right Tubbo?" She asked.

"Uh, yeah. Why?" He asked skeptically.

She giggled, "Oh, no reason. Just, what if you got Ranboo?"

"Very funny. Why would a God that could destroy the world with the snap of his fingers, become the partner of someone like me?" He asked.
