As soon as you entered the lab Daru excused himself to the bathroom and called his mother.

"Itaru! It's so good to hear from my son! How have you been! Why are you suddenly calling me now>" She buggered him with questions for a solid minute before he got the chance to speak. "I'm fine mom Okabe is good and school is well. My semester ended well and I recently finished the summer homework. But I'm not calling to catch up." "Awww. You call me after not even talking for six months and the moment you do, you don't even ask how your mother is? I am such a bad parent." "Mom! It's not like that! Look I have an important question to ask. But how are you?" He was guilted into saying. Daru was bombarded by questions and rants by his mother for a solid 5 minutes. He tried to get a word out but was interrupted every time. The more frustration in his voice made you, Okabe and Kurisu laugh.

"Now what is it you wanted to ask me Itaru dear?" "Finally! So you know our family grave right?" ""Of course! Your grandparents and aunt and ancestors are buried there too! And so-" "I know! No more talking my ear off. I wanted to confirm that it is in Fuyuki." "Why yes it is. Why do you ask?" "I saw someone with our name buried in a Tokyo Cemetery. But to my knowledge we are some of the only Hashidas in Japan and all of the known ones aren't in Tokyo."

There was silence on the other line. "Mom?"
"Yeah... You are right. I'm sorry but I don't know why that is. Are you sure it said Hashida?" "Im Positive!" "Alright well was the grave stone like ours?" "Yes it was" "Then I will have to investigate that. But I'd like you to go there within the week and investigate the head stone further and give me all the info you can. I'll look for any history on the person." "Sounds good mom"
The call hung up and Daru rested his head on the wall. "What is going on here?" He asked himself. "So I guess by the call it's some weird coincidence or mystical thing?" Kurisu asked. "Yeah... I have no idea how this is possible." "Are you going to visit tomorrow then?" You asked. "I am but I could use someone's help too. Four eyes are better than two." "I'll go. Because I am quite interested in it too." You stated.
"Yay! An investigation! Detective Mayuri will help too! And she wants her assistant inspector Okarin to join her!"
"Hey! I didn't sign up for this!" "Too bad! You are helping us." "But we have more experiments to run!" "Those can wait! We have all the time in the world." "Yeah except for you assistant! You are only here for another few weeks!" "Don't call me assistant!"
"You know. If we really have discovered time travel like Okabe claims then we technically would have all the time in the world." You stated.

"But it is impossible you two must have been high!" "Like hell we were! How did we both experience it!?" "Because you two got high or drunk?" Kurisu taunted. The two bickered again. "Ah yes. Keep fighting. You two make great story material.!" Kurisu and Okabe both glared at Daru. "Shut up pervert!" They both shouted. "Well I guess you two can agree on one thing." You teased. The two blushed and tried to look away.
"Even better. You are both tsundere as well. Perfect for my OTP in my fanfiction I call my life" "We are not OTP!" The three of you were surprised with what Kurisu stated. 
"Looks like someone has the fan fiction bug." "Lay off!" "Hey Daru how many lemons can you add to this fan fiction of yours?" "Kurisu blushed and punched the two of them in their shoulders. Okabe flinched and rubbed his sore arm. "I said lay off! Now let's get to experimenting before it is too late!!!"
"Hahaha! So that's what it takes to inspire you to do experiments assistant!"
"Okay do you want me to help you or not because I'm about to leave!" "Okay! I'll be good."
"Kurisu was skeptical of Okabe but decided to believe him. "Sorry Makise. I'll keep them in better check." Good" She smiled.

The experiments kept going. You were stunned to see the banana disappear so suddenly. There wasn't anything in there to cause it to disappear. Seeing it happen for yourself was like a dream. A single blink and it was gone. With the same blink it was back with the bunch of bananas. Kurisu and Okabe tried to investigate the banana itself while you and Daru took apart the microwave to see if there was a mechanism causing the teleportation.
