I had woken up the next morning before my alarm clock had rang.
I pulled the sheets back, got up, and looked in the mirror. I was smiling. For once in a very long time, and it was all because of Lacey.
I went into my closet to find some clothes to wear. I eventually picked out red skinny jeans, a black and white 'Kiss' T-shirt, and some grey converse. I used eye-liner to put a faint black line to ring my eyes and straightened my hair.
I checked the clock, 6:45. I grabbed my bag and said goodbye to my mom.
"See ya, mom. I'm going to school."
"Okay, dear. Call me if your going to- what was that nice girl's name again?
"Her name is Lacey, mom." I smiled
"Okay, well if you're going to her house after school, tell me. Ok?"
"Ok, mom. I will" I shook my head and walked out the door.
The bus arrived right as I walked out the door and I got onto it. In the 3rd seat from the front sat Lacey, so I sat down next to her. She had ear buds in that were blaring music and she looked half asleep. She didnt notice me sit down. I decided to mess with her, heheheh >:)
I lightly tickled her sides until she immediately jumped and started giggling. It was so cute!
"Andy! Andy, stop!" She said between fits of laughter.
I stopped and stared at her with puppy dog eyes and a pouty lip.
"Awwh, but I was having funnn!" I said
It became silent and she leaned her face towards mine with her soft pink lips parted slightly and fluttered her lashes down. I leaned in slightly and....
FLICK!
"Owww!" I whined after I realized she had flicked the side of my nose.
"Thats what you get for scaring me, Andrew!"
"Okay, Dragonfly..." I said quietly
"What did you call me, Biersack..."
"Oh, what?! Nothing! Why would I say something!? Even if I DID say something, which I surely didn't, I wouldn't have just now called you my.... Dragonfly!" I said
"Okay, fine. Dragonfly it is then. Just know ill be coming up with a nickname for you too!." She said with her nose in the air.
"And I'm sure ill love it no matter what!" I said before pecking her on the cheek! Her cheeks turned red.
-----------------------------------------------------------After school.
Lacey and I were walking to the bus hand in hand until suddenly stopped with a big grin on her face.
"What?" I asked
"PIGGY BACK!" She said and then jumped on my back. "Hop, Bunny, hop!"
I played along with her insanity, and started hopping to the bus with her on my back.
You can picture the looks on people's faces when they saw us running around the buses with Lacey on my back while I was bouncing up and down..
Before I put her down to walk onto the bus, she kissed my temple and said
"White Rabbit" She said
"White Rabbit? Whats that?"
"Your new nickname, silly!" She said and giggled. "You're my White Rabbit now." She hugged my back and got down.
"Well, like I said, I love it." I smiled and continued walking.
Hand in hand, walked the Dragonfly and White Rabbit~
