Author's POV
Chanhee sniffles as he walks under the rain. He is heading towards the little shed. He shivers as he reaches the shed and stands there wiping away the wetness from his face. He wanted to cry out loud so hard. 'This is all because of Kim Sunwoo.' he thinks to himself as he looks at the rain hitting the ground.
Kim Sunwoo the popular guy in Chanhee's school. He was a jerk to Chanhee. Always teasing him. Always making him do things. And today because of doing Kim Sunwoo's damn stupid homework Chanhee had forgotten to bring his umbrella. And now it was raining and Chanhee was stuck, soaking wet and upset. He was far from his home.
Chanhee was not a fan of rain. It reminded him of his father's death who he had lost during a car crash. It was raining that day too. Chanhee sighs as he grips the hem of his shirt. God he wanted to cry so much but he hated crying in public where one could see him. He looks down at his shoes holding back his tears.
While doing so he saw someone approach him. He didn't bother looking up until the person was in front of him. He looks up and see the person who is the sole reason why he had forgotten to bring his damn umbrella. "What are you doing here in this weather?" Kim Sunwoo asks as looking at him worriedly. Chanhee internally scoffs.
"Waiting for lightning to strike me and kill me." Chanhee answers. Sunwoo frowns at his words. Chanhee sighs. Sunwoo might be a jerk but he is dumb, he concludes. "I forgot my umbrella. And I can't walk home in this rain." He says shortly. Sunwoo nods. "Come on." He says. Chanhee looks at him confused. Sunwoo sighs as he grabs Chanhee's hands and drags him towards a car. "I maybe a bit of a jerk. But I am not going to leave you out here. You are wet from head to toes. You will catch a fever at this rate." Sunwoo says. He opens the car and pushes Chanhee inside on the backseat as he gets in beside him.
He tells the driver to start driving who nods and does what he was asked to do. "Are you kidnapping me? Because this seems a lot like that." Chanhee says. Sunwoo scoffs looking at him. "Stay quiet and enjoy this kindness I am showing to you." Sunwoo said. Chanhee rolled his eyes. "Kindness my ass." He says as he leans back on the sit sighing out.
After a while they pull up at a mansion. Chanhee looks at it in awe. It really was true when other students who knew Sunwoo said he was rich. The car stops under a shed that connects to the large front door of the mansion. Sunwoo opens the door and steps out. Chanhee does the same, feeling awkward. A maid opens the door and greets Sunwoo who just gives her a nod. Chanhee bows in greeting.
"Follow me." Sunwoo says as he walks in. Chanhee bites his lips wanting to throw retort about how he is not a pet to follow him but helds himself back. "Do you live alone?" He asks instead. "No I stay with my Hyung and his husband but they are on a vacation." Sunwoo answers. After that they both walk in silence. Sunwoo leads him to a room which Chanhee assumes was his. He walks inside what seems to be his walk-in closet. Chanhee waits feeling a little nervous for some reason. Sunwoo comes out after a while and hands him a shirt and a black pant that seem comfortable.
"You can take a bath. And change. We are almost the same size so these will fit you. Change fast or you will catch a cold." He says his eyes anywhere but on Chanhee for some reason. He sounded worried. And that was a first for Chanhee. The younger almost sounded cute. Chanhee smacks himself internally. 'Cute? Cute??? He is anything but cute.' Chanhee scolds himself. He grabs the clothes from Sunwoo. The younger shows him the bathroom that was attached to his room and left Chanhee to do his business.
Sunwoo's POV
I must be crazy. Oh I really must be crazy! Fuck why is my heart beating so fast! It is just Choi Chanhee! Yeah. No one else. Yeah the Choi Chanhee you low-key have a crush on. Great going Kim Sunwoo. I stand in front of my bed as I have an internal meltdown. "Why am I even talking to myself." I sighed. I shook my head then went to change into something comfortable.
After I changed I got on the bed and played some games on my phone. Then a few minutes later the bathroom door opens and Chanhee's head peeks out. Holy fuck why does he look so cute again???! I cough awkwardly. "You done?" I asked trying to sound as fine as possible. It was not like my heart was pounding like a fucking bitch. Right? Right?
Author's POV
"Yeah. Um where should I put my wet clothes?" Chanhee asks, gripping the hem of Sunwoo's shirt which he was wearing, feeling shy. "One of the maids can handle it. You will need to wash it anyway. Come down. I am hungry so let's eat." Sunwoo says getting up. Chanhee nods as he follows the younger down to the kitchen. The cook there served their food and they ate together talking once in a while about class assignments and stuff.
After the rain had stopped Chanhee was ready to head back home again as his mother had messaged him asking him to head home fast and started getting worried as Chanhee was late. "I have to go now." Chanhee says. Sunwoo looks up from his phone. "Oh? Um I will ask one of the drivers to drop you off." Sunwoo offers. Chanhee accepts the offers because he does feel tired.
Before Chanhee returns he approaches Sunwoo. "Thank you for helping today. Even if you can be a jerk and made me forget to bring my umbrella I am thankful that you helped me today. You are a jerk but a nice one. Thanks again Kim Sunwoo. I owe you one for today. Hope that tomorrow you can be as nice as today." Chanhee says. He leans up and pecks Sunwoo's right cheek to show his gratitude.
With a wave, he turns around and walks away. Chanhee got inside the car and the driver slowly drives away. And if Sunwoo had a sleepless night because of little kiss on his cheek then no one needed to know that. And if he did acted more nicely towards Chanhee the next day no one needed to know the reason. At least not yet 😉
