Description: After a successful courting Chanhee and Sunwoo are ready to take their next step.

Author's POV

A few days later they do end up talking to Chanhee's parents about it. They are elated to know that they were ready. Can you blame them? They wanted grandchilds now. They weren't getting any younger. Chanhee's father decided to hold a traditional mating ceremony for them. After all it was not just a mating of any wolf but of the future head alpha and Luna. The ritual was planned to take place a few days after that. The whole pack was preparing for it the moment it was announced. Everyone were in high spirit. On the other hand Sunwoo was also being taught by Chanhee's father. The duties he would have as a head alpha.

The day of ritual came fast. It was as if the days went by in a blink. On the day of the ritual Sunwoo was taken away from Chanhee. They were being separated. The two were to not see each other until the night when the actual ritual takes place. "I feel so irritated." Chanhee huffs missing the younger already. "Ayeee it is only for a while. Later you will be able to see him. And do so much. I say claim his knot." Changmin shamelessly said.

"Oh god. Not the talk about knots again." Chanhee miserably groans. His friend hadn't been able to shut up about how Chanhee was going to claim Sunwoo's knot ever since the news about them having the mating ritual was announced. "I am not lying though. After this day he will be yours and you will be his. And lots of mating. Do you know how big he is? Alphas are generally big so be prepared dear friend. I won't be surprised if you limp for a week." Changmin nonchalantly says.

Chanhee's face burns as he shoves Changmin. "Stop being filthy for ones. People will hear." He literally cries out helplessly. "Fine fine. You won't be so shy after Sunwoo claims you." Changmin huffs. Chanhee swears he is going to go insane.

The whole day Chanhee is being prepared for the ritual. As the night approaches he finds himself dressed in a beautiful clothing. A flower crown over his head. The pack members are also dressed up very well as they all gather around the large open ground. Chanhee stands beside his father in front of all the pack members. A little while later he sees Sunwoo come up. He also has a flower crown on his head. And he is so damn good.

Sunwoo walks up towards Chanhee greeting him with a smile. The head alpha claps his hand loudly catching the attention of every pack members. "Today we are here to witness the mating ritual of my son and alpha Kim Sunwoo who are destined to be the next Luna and head alpha of our pack." He says. The pack members cheers at that. "The elders will initiate the old mating tradition of the Luna and head alphas of a pack." The head alpha adds.

The elders are the werewolves who oversees all the packs. They are like the guardian. They stand in common ground and doesn't necessarily side with any packs and possess certain powers.

One of the elders that came walks towards Chanhee and holds up his hand. He holds up a sharp pin and pricks the tip of Chanhee's finger with it, then letting the drop of bloods that came down in a small bowl. He does the same with Sunwoo. He holds the bowl out and closes his eyes chanting. Chanhee and Sunwoo both feels a burning sensation on their chest. It was not that painful but it certainly wasn't a comfortable feeling. The sensation stops as the elder finish chanting. "The moon goddess accepts the new head alpha and Luna of this pack." He announces

The pack members cheers even louder. Chanhee and Sunwoo looks at their chest and sees the marking of their pack. After the marking ritual was done the elders also did multiple prayers, blessing the new leaders of the pack and blessing the day of their mating. Chanhee was very shy about it while Sunwoo looks as proud as ever. Being able to be the older's alpha. The pack celebrated the night away while Chanhee and Sunwoo were led to a house that the head alpha had prepared for them.
