Enji woke in a cold sweat. Today he would face Hisoka. He knew Hisoka was strong- but how strong? Did he even have any weaknesses? The man was fine after being punched with a fist of fire.
Plus, the recent feelings that had sprouted didn't help his anxieties about the fight.

Enji left his room and went to the dining room, where there was a sticky note left on the table.

"Meet me at this intersection~♡" Next to it was a computer opened to Google maps, where the location was. It was one of the busiest intersections, if a battle where to occur there, it would cause multiple civilian deaths. It was Enji's duty to stop that from happening. Speak of the devil, Enji looked at his phone and saw an alert, that at that very intersection a villain had attacked and was fighting (in the middle of Enji reading the first alert, a second one came saying he had killed) a pro-hero sent to calm the situation. Enji changed into his hero suit and rushed down to the crime scene, hoping he'd be able to make it out alive.

"HISOKA!" Enji screamed when he arrived on scene. The situation was out of hand. There were cars flooding the streets as civilians rushed out of them, a few corpses of civilians or officers and the most noticeable being a rookie pro-hero. Hisoka was unscathed.

"Endeavor you're finally here~ I was waiting for the longest time, just standing in the intersection when someone had the audacity to get and yell at me. He lunged at me, so I simply defended myself and went on with my business. And then everyone else showed up," Hisoka scoffed. "Well, now that I've warmed up, will this match finally begin?"

"Yes-"

Hisoka's eyes rolled back, he put his hands on his hips and his back started to arch.

"It's my duty as the #1 hero to protect the citizens of Japan-"

Hisoka's back stopped arching.

"Your little speech is ruining the moment you know,"

"Uh- so prepare to meet your maker, Hisoka!"

Hisoka went back to his position and a low moan escaped his lips.

"That's more like it..."

Enji took his fighting stance.

"Ohhh....don't do that...it's just... turning me on, SOOO MUCH, ENDEAVORRR"

Endeavor ran towards Hisoka, flame engulfed in flames. Hisoka dodged effortlessly, to immediately have his feet swept out from under him and get a firey uppercut to the face. Hisoka quickly flung his hands out in front of him to stop himself from falling. But it wasn't humanoid. It was like there was some outside force he was using, so he wouldn't fall.

"How did you not fall- you're obviously using something to stop yourself from falling, so what is it?" Enji demanded. Hisoka scoffed.

"You don't remember? Really, I'm hurt Endeavor. You don't remember bungee gum?"  Enji then remembered, it was one of their first conversations. Hisoka had the same hand motions, and then said "Bungee gum contains the same properties of rubber and gum" and then later said something about...nen? How could he forget? The time before he knew anything about Hisoka, when he was more of a confusion than a threat. Oh how he wished he could go back to that time- and instead of agreeing to fight, found some other solution, as he didn't want to hurt Hisoka.

Wait.

'Now is not the time for gay thoughts!' Enji thought- there was no question about it even then- he and Hisoka were destined to fight. Maybe in another lifetime they could've been lovers, sweeter than a rose, but not in this one.

(Seems Enji forgot to turn the gay thoughts off again)

Hisoka sighed, and suddenly pulled a large strip of road. "Well, so sad it'll have to end like this Endeavor- you were one of my favorites," and threw the road onto Enji. He couldn't out run it, and braced for impact. It hit him hard- completely knocking him over, and crushing all nearby cars. His vision was going hazy, and all he could see was a too bright sun, and Hisoka standing over him, about to deliver the finishing blow. It couldn't end like this- could it?
