My mum died when I was 4, I had no idea who my dad was and no family besides her so I had to move in with my best friend Luke, whose parents were more than welcome to have me. His mom, Blaise, and my mom were best friends and so we became quite close as we saw each other quite often. And since my mom has been sick for the last year, his mom took care of me most of the time and was like a second mom to me. I liked spending time there quite a lot as I got to be with luke more and we had become like siblings now. Blaise always told me I looked a lot like my mom with dark wavy hair blue eyes and that always made me happy because my mom was really pretty.

After about a year of living with me she decided to tell me the truth about my father, she had promised my mom to tell me after about a year as it would have been quite too much to take after she had just died. She pulled me aside one day and told me that as much as she liked me staying here it would be better if I lived with my actual family and she couldn't afford school fees for the two of us as well, luke and me.

I was made to sit in a car and driven off to the avengers compound. She explained to me on the way that tony stark was my dad and he didn't know I existed because mom and he hadn't really kept in touch after and she found out she was pregnant with me after the breakup. Which was a lot to take in and I was a little scared to be meeting him for the first time.

We arrived at the place and let me tell you it was massive. Blaise(she didn't mind me calling her that) ringed the doorbell and waited, I started getting nervous because I didn't know much about him apart from the fact that he was an avenger as I had seen him on tv quite often. I wanted to take Luke with me as he would give me courage but he was way too excited after hearing who my father was that Blaise decided it was best if he stayed home.

A really tall guy opened the door who I recognized as captain America and asked how he could help with a smile that I found comforting.Mom(i called her that sometimes and she loved it when I did) explained the situation in brief and told how she would like to speak with tony, he called us in and told me he'll be here in a minute and told us to wait on the sofa. I saw tony come out from his lab and immediately started feeling anxious. 

Blaise: "Hello, I'm Blaise and this is my best friend Diane's daughter, that name ring a bell?" (she can be quite frank when she wants to and she didn't exactly like tony that much, I mean he did break Diane's heart)

Tony: "No not exactly, who is she? and what does that have to do with me?"

Blaise: "figured so. She's your daughter. U dated Diane for about a week and left her later, she found out she was pregnant and tried calling you but u didn't pick up u jerk."

He was quite shocked to hear this that he ignored her calling him a jerk and turned to look at me which made me sink back into the couch.

Tony: "Do u have proof and also can we talk somewhere privately without the child."

Blaise showed him the birth certificate showing who the father was and a DNA test too which she had brought with her. She told me to sit here while she went and talked to tony, she turned to the tall guy and told him to take care of me for some time.

I sat there not knowing what to do and just waved at the big guy introducing myself as Y/N with a smile and he smiled back at me saying he was steve rogers which made me laugh and I told him I knew who he was. He asked me if I went to school and I said that because my mom was sick, most of the money went into paying the hospital bills and so she couldn't afford to send me, Luke used to teach me what they taught in school as he went there. He asked who Luke was and I told him that he was my best friend, my only friend, and went on to talk about how much fun we have all the time and eat ice cream at night while watching movies and he smiled brightly at me after noticing how happy I was while talking about him.
