Christmas Special

Freddie had been courting Sam after the tuna accident happened. They went back together to Seattle after he got dismissed in the hospital since Carly called them and said that she would settle back in Seattle.

All of the gang knows the courting thingy.

Sam loves him back but she's scared to get her heart ripped out again that's why she's still hesitating to whether get back together and risk everything or keep their friendship and stay still.

This year, Carly planned to have something special for Christmas. She would surely play a little game for the two to finally get together.

Carly made a list of their names and made each one of them pick 1 paper in the box. She went to Sam first and made her grab a paper inside the small box. Little did the blonde know that the names written on the box were all Freddie's. The same thing happened with their techy friend, he grabbed a paper inside the box that's full of Sam's name. So here's the list of the person who got who:

Sam - Freddie
Freddie - Sam
Carly - Gibby
Gibby - Spencer
Spencer - Carly

*10 days before Christmas*

Sam barged in Shay's loft with an upset-looking face. She found her way towards their couch and planted her face in there. Carly was on the counter making her Special Lemonade when she noticed her presence. "Oh, hey Sam!"

"Hey," Sam mumbled lazily. Carly furrowed her brows and went near her. She eyed her and knew something was bothering her best friend. "Alright, What's wrong?"

Sam then sat back up, "It's just that I think the universe hates me. I get that I did a lot of bad things but ugh.."

"So, what happened?"

"The exchange gift thingy. I got Freddie's name. I don't know what that dork wants or needs. And why did I get his name? Is this a punishment or what?" Sam whispered shouted.

Carly chuckled, "Freddie huh? Maybe the universe is giving you signs already." Sam glared at her which made Carly turn into serious. "I don't know. Maybe think of something that you think would mean a lot for both of you. Think first, if it would make you happy if you are giving a gift, then I guarantee you that the person that you're giving them a gift to will be happy too."

"Wow. What a speech." Sam sarcastically mumbled lowly. She then stood up and got meat on the fridge.

Days passed, and soon enough it was already Christmas. Everyone got each other their presents. They were just eating at the Shay's. After that, they proceeded to open their gifts.

"I'll go first!" Carly excitedly jumped up from her seat and handed Gibby her present. "Carly, you did not?! A tuna scented soap?! How'd you know I love tuna so much? Thank you!" Gibby gasped. Carly nodded her head joyously, contented knowing that he liked her present. "Okay, Gibby you go."

Gibby stood up and gave Spencer his present. Spencer destroyed the gift wrapper. "Art materials? Thank you so much Gibkid!"

"You're welcome." Gibby grinned proudly. "Okay, I'm next." Spencer got up and pulled a large box that was placed at the side of their not-so-normal-but-good-looking Christmas tree. He then placed it in front of her sister.

Carly got excited and promptly unwrapped it. She gasps when she saw her gift. "A pink soft, customized, and human-sized bear?! Spencer this is so cute! I finally have something by my side when I sleep! Thank you, Spencer!" Spencer kissed the top of her sister's head as they shared an embrace.

The three then looked at Sam and Freddie. "Oh yeah, wait um. I, um, I'll go first. Here." he smiled as he handed the blonde's present. Sam rose her brows. She opened the small box. "Woah! Dude! Are you serious? A ticket to the largest bacon and ham factory?!" Sam let out a gasp. Freddie was extremely glad that he once made her happy again.

The three were just watching the two since they are all masterminds behind everything. "Thanks. Anyways, Um. Here." Sam hesitantly handed him the small red box. Freddie got it and started removing the ribbon. He saw a lot of colored paper inside the box. He removed them, then he saw a small white card. He put down the box first then slowly opened the letter.

'Mark this day for an anniversary.'

He read the handwritten letter, his eyes got wide the moment he realized it. "Y-You? - What? Wait! Oh my God!" The boy reacted.

Sam raised her brows once at him while grinning. "If this is a dream I don't wanna wake up. Can someone punch me or something?" Freddie panicked while his heart was thumping fast.

Being the Gibby he is, he punched him on his stomach. Freddie grimaced in pain for a second then he fix himself up back. The four were just laughing at him. "Oh jeez, I hope I made the right decision." Sam teased him. He glared but he couldn't help but grin.

"For the last time, Is this true? I mean, if this is a prank, you know I would never talk to you."

Sam scoffed, "Ha! As if you can. But yeah, whatever, it's not."

"Yes!" Freddie threw his hands up as if he won a gold medal from the Olympics. Well, he did win.

"You know, I guess I don't feel bad for cheating a bit on the names." Carly butted in, "What names?" the two asked.

"I may have or may have not made you two get each other's name." Carly mumbled, "But, yay! SEDDIE!" she completely changed the subject when she saw Sam and Freddie's reaction.

Sam and Freddie then looked at each other, Freddie's blush never left his face, you surely would mistake him as a tomato if he don't have his eyes, nose, mouth, or brows. "Thank you! This is the best present I've gotten my whole life." Freddie sauntered towards her and embraced her. She hugged back in response.

"Such a nub," Sam mumbled yet Freddie heard it, slightly glared but his grin betrayed him. He kissed her forehead. "I love you. Always know that."

Sam was a bit taken aback with his words but the butterflies in her stomach went wild, "I - I love you too."

The other three were watching them like they were watching a romantic film except that this was real, "Aww!"
