Epilogue

Sumedh and Suhani kept looking at each other. What more could they do now! They knew no one would come to visit them. Nor they could go elsewhere.

"Are we stuck here?" Suhani asked.

"May be. That's why we couldn't go out" Sumedh said.

"How does this work? I mean I am confused. We can't go out because we died here but those people.. Those spirits who visited us? What about them?" Suhani asked.

"We need guidance Suhani. We need to be at peace. This can not be the peace right?" Sumedh said.

"Right. There has to be some place which feels like peace" Suhani said "This place has violent history. We died here"

"I read dada's diary.. Everyone is so sad" Sumedh said "But Dada and Vahini decided to take Samar with them. He's in good hands"

"What about the girl who killed us?" Suhani asked.

"Police got her. She's in mental hospital for now" Sumedh answered.

Suhani sighed.

"We didn't deserve this Sumedh" Suhani said.

"I know Suhani. But that's what we got" Sumedh said.

"What about Sayali? She's the only person who could meet us" Suhani asked.

"Yeah. She can communicate. She can travel through our world to their world" Sumedh answered "Dada ne diary me likha hai ki jis din unhe aisa laga ki hum yahi hai aur aagey nahi badh paye hai.. He contacted Sayali to communicate with us. Sayali ko aate hi pehle yeh pata chal gaya ki hum toh jante hi nahi hai that we're dead.. She was finding ways to tell us. To make us realise" Sumedh told.

"Now that we know.. Can she come back? To meet us?" Suhani asked.

"May be she can" Sumedh told.

"I hope she comes back" Suhani wished.

"There's something you should see" Sumedh said. He took out a photograph from the diary.

"Yeh Samar ki latest photograph hai" Sumedh said.

Suhani smiled and looked at it "He's so big" She said.

"He's almost one" Sumedh said "And he can walk now"

Suhani chuckled as she imagined him walking. She kept her head on Sumedh's shoulder "My boy is so handsome" She said with dreamy eyes "He's gonna look like you when he'll grow up"

"I know right.. Extremely handsome" Sumedh said.

Suhani chuckled.

"I wish hum use dekh pate" Sumedh said "I didn't want to miss anything related to him you know. Uska chalna, school jana, college jana.. We are gonna miss everything now"

"May be koi scheme hogi.. We could be angels and look down at him from sky.. May be jo bola jata hai wo sach ho" Suhani said.

"I hope sach ho" Sumedh wished.

Suhani and Sumedh heard someone walking towards them. They looked at that direction and found Sayali.

Sayali was slowly walking towards them. She had tears in her eyes.

Sumedh smiled "Hi Sayali. Tumhe dar nahi lagta kya? Hum log mare hue log hai"

"Marne ke baad bhi tumhari faltu baatein karne ki aadat nahi gayi hai na?" Sayali said.

"Wo nahi jayegi kabhi" Sumedh replied.

Sayali started crying "I should've come earlier that night. I tried everything Sumedh but I couldn't save you both. I am sorry"
