The Angel That Saved Me (ON HOLD)

Chapter 8

I wake up to find Matt missing. Geoffrey is gone too...where did they go? 

I see a small stream and walk towards it. Maybe that's where they went..? 

I walk closer and see him in the water with no clothes on. The water starts just at his belly so I cant see anything that might scar me for life. I see his abs and muscled arms though and can't help, but drool. Are angels naturally this good looking? How is he even allowed to look this good and how does he not know that I'm there? I had better leave before I do see something.

I quickly turn back to camp and sit down for a moment. I really need to calm down. All the sudden I noticed that Geoffrey was nowhere to be found. Now where did that flying pig go? Eh, he's probably chasing squirrels or something.  

Matt walks up in clothes now and I can't help, but grin when I see him. He makes me happy.

" Good morning sunshine. Sleep well..?"  

"Yy..Yeahh..." For a moment I remember what I had just seen of him a few minutes ago and blush. It should be illegal to be that hot.

"What's the matter....?" 

"Nothing.." 

I look down at the ground wishing he loved me. I thought he did, but he hasn't told me yet. Then, as if he was reading my mind... 

"Um...can I ask you something..? 

"Sure." 

"I was uh...wondering if...you...wanted to go out with me. I've been wanting to ask you, but...I haven't really had the guts to." 

I think for a moment. I have spent a few days with Matt and I feel like I already know him. I honestly do love him. 

" Sure. I've been waiting too. I really love you."  

He breathes a sigh of relief and hugs me.  

"I was afraid you would reject me.." 

He then holds my face and looks at my lips. I know that he is about to kiss me and I'm honestly completely okay with it. 

We close our eyes and our lips crash together. At first he is kissing me, but I start to kiss him back. The kiss deepens, but then Geoffrey has to come up and ruin the moment. Nice going Geoffrey...  

"Ohhhh, two lovebirds kissing . Heavy stuff going on here while I was gone" 

We both break away reluctantly. 

"Geoffrey, stop it! And thanks for ruining the moment..." 

"Your welcome." 

Flying pigs can be annoying sometimes... 

We roll up our sleeping bags and pack everything up. 

Today is when we finally reach Hyphos.  

Matt picks me up bridal style and starts flying again. The scenery suddenly changes from trees and fields to houses. Then buildings. Its definitely getting more urban. We finally start to see Liberty 2 and 1, but just barely. My heart beats in excitement as we draw closer. 

Then another....angel appears in the distance. This one has gray angel wings.... 

"Matt, who is that..?"
