The Angel That Saved Me (ON HOLD)

Chapter 7

It walks towards me and whispers in my ear.

"Youuuu have grrrrrrreattttt power..."

"I...I...do...?"

"Sooooo....youuu donttttt know how ttto ussse it doo youuu....? Thattt puttssss me atttt a good advantage doesntttttt itttt....?"

It pushes me over and jumps on top of me. It's really hard to breath and I'm so terrified that I can barely move at all. It steps on my foot creating great pain. I shriek in terror. It winces as if I hurt it. I scream again and it winces even more. Then...a thought pops into my head.I start singing. "I love you.....we were together on a journey beating up the monsters, monsters."

"SSSSSTTTOPPPP ITTTTT!!!!" It roars in anger.

I sing louder and the monster starts to cover it's ears.

All the sudden it starts to shrink. It screams in terror and bursts into flames.

"Noooooo!!! You are evillll, evilll I sssssayy....!"

The ground cracks open and the burning creature falls through. Then the ground swallows it up. I gasp and fall on the floor. That was an exciting experience (note the sarcasm)

I fall back down and faint. It's all so hard to take in. I wake up a few seconds later to find my foot in excruciating pain. My toes are swollen, and bruises cover my toes...well this should make travel interesting...

I look over at matt to see him laying on the ground. His shoulder all bloody.

"NO...NO NO!!!!"

I rush over him and start crying.

I loved him..... I start singing and crying at the same time.

"Ive been waiting a thousand years...I'll wait for a thousand years more...."

Then I hear him groan. His eyes open and I watch as is arm starts healing before my very eyes...

His wing also starts to heal. I watch as the bones start fixing them selves. He watches his arm fix its self with an expression of awe. It finishes and it looks as if he never got hurt in the first place.

"You...you.....healed me..."

"Yeah...I guess I did...."

He stands up and starts to flex his wing.

"Good as new.."

"I cant walk...my toes are broken..."

"Maybe you could try to do whatever you did with me on your self..?"

I start to sing, but nothing happens.

One minute of singing and still nothing.

"Maybe I don't know what makes it work yet..."

" I might be able to carry you."

He comes behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. As soon as he touched me electricity went through my whole body. I wondered if he felt it too.

"Come on Geoffrey"

He starts flapping and we lift of the ground.

I gasp. Its so high...We fly so high that the houses look like dollhouses and the people look like a ants. Geoffrey flew beside us as we went. We stopped every now and then to change positions. Sometimes he would hug me, other times he would carry my bridal style through the air. The moment could have lasted forever...

Hours pass...we don't talk as much because the wind is whistling in our ears. The only time we talk is when we stop to eat or relieve our selves.

"We are only half an hour away. We should stop here."

He flies down and places me gently down on the ground. He puts Geoffrey on watch and then he quickly falls asleep. I can see his angelic face and I wish I could kiss him right now... Then I fall asleep watching him.
