"Are you gentlemen ready for the best night of your lives?" Alex asks with a grin, rubbing his hands together in excitement.

"Remind me again why you picked Alex to run your bachelor party?" I ask T'Challa, who's standing in between Khari and I in one of his casual outfits; just dress pants and a black shirt.

"You act as if I had a choice in the matter." T'Challa mumbles.

"What do you have planned, my love?" Khari asks with an amused smirk.

"I'm glad you asked," Alex gestures for us to follow him, and against our better judgement, we do. "Tonight is not just about T'Challa, it's about all of us."

Alex pauses for dramatic effect, so with a roll of my eyes, I say, "Pray tell."

"Before our wedding," He gestures between him and Khari. "Soroya was still recovering from the ordeal with Remington. And before yours, Buck, you and Khari were both healing with bullet wounds. None of us ever got bachelor parties. So tonight, we're going to celebrate bachelorhood like we never got the chance to."

"Kind of hard to celebrate bachelorhood with your husband." I point out.

Alex ignores me. "T'Challa told me that I could not bring him anywhere risqué, so no strip clubs. He also said no bars. You can imagine how difficult it was to plan a bachelor party without those two key components, but me—being me—managed it perfectly."

Alex stops walking in front of one of a Wakandan ship and opens up the door, gesturing for us to enter.

"Where are we going?" I dare to ask.

His grin widens. "We are going shopping."

Alex wasn't kidding. He flew us all the way up to New York and parked our ship behind a Target, then ordered us to buy whatever food and alcohol we desired while he bought 'supplies'.

The three of us knew better than to ask what 'supplies' meant, so here we are wandering through Target with a shopping cart, buying whatever sticks out to us.

"You nervous about tomorrow?" Khari asks as we head down the candy isle. We've already perused the alcohol isle (where we bought a few cases of beer and a bottle of bourbon) and several snack isles (where we bought disgusting foods like SnowBalls and Pringles).

T'Challa grabs a bag of Peanut M&M's and shakes his head. "No. I've loved Nakia my whole life, I cannot wait to be married to her."

"I felt the same when I married Alex."

"Same here," I say, looking through the selection of Hershey's candy bars. "If I were you, I would be nervous about the ceremony itself. There's a lot to remember."

"Yes, but we've practiced for days now. I'm positive I can handle the ceremony."

As we head towards the end of the isle, where the sour candies reside, I turn towards T'Challa and tell him, "I'm really happy for you, T'Challa. I know you and Nakia will make each other very happy."

He reaches forward and clasps my shoulder. "I am grateful for the two of you, and for Alex. I could not ask for better friends."

Khari approaches T'Challa's other side and smiles. "Neither could we."

As if Alex sensed that we were having a touching moment, he comes barreling down the isle with his own cart, announcing loudly, "Alright assholes, let's get this show on the road."
