!!! The next chapter will be very soon this chapter is only here because it is Zayneth's birthday so like yay. The next chapter should be out in around one hour to eleven months.
Sin frowned as she looked at her calendar. Today was the 25th of September. Zayne's birthday. Today, they should have been doing something together, wasting their time. But Zayne had left her. He didn't even hesitate.
She wondered how this even started. It was a normal day when they had a fight. They had gone through their normal routines. Then she saw the letter. And she assumed. And she was right, he had kept a secret for her for who knows how long.
But, she was overwhelmed by emotion, and she shouted at him. They could have talked it out, done things differently, but no. Zayne had left without looking back. And Sin wasn't sure where he was, or if he would return.
She pulled out a photo from her wallet and smiled. She and Zayne were sitting in an empty bus stop shelter in the busy city. It was raining. Sin was holding vanilla ice cream while Zayne was holding a blunt. They both had the biggest smiles. Both their lips were red and Zayne's hair was messed up. Both were drenched from head to toe.
This was Zayne's 17th birthday. Sin sighed as she felt herself being pulled away, being forced to relive the memory.
.
It was raining outside, heavily. Sin was slightly, ok no- very disappointed as the outdoor trip she had thoroughly planned for her and Zayne had been ruined. All because she didn't think of checking the stupid weather.
Zayne looked at her briefly, focusing back onto the road as to not crash into anything. He smiled a little when he saw their pout. "Hey, look. The trip isn't ruined yet, we can still camp here in the car. It's already dark, we can just find a little clearing to park in."
"No, we were meant to be stargazing and looking at the moon tonight."
"We can do that tomorrow."
"But there's a full moon tonight, it was supposed to look beautiful."
"The full moon will be gone tomorrow night?"
"Yes."
Zayne kept quiet after that, listening to the soft tap of rain hitting the car. He looked up to the dark cloudy sky. Not a single star was in sight. He drummed his fingers against the steering wheel and hummed the tune to one of Sin's favourite songs, hoping to cheer her up even a little.
"It's not going to work, Zayne. Everything is ruined."
Zayne sighed. He loved Sin, but she could be... stubborn at times. "Will anything cheer you up?"
"No."
"Why don't we..."
He suddenly smiled, forming an idea.
Sin looked at him, eyebrows furrowed. "Why don't we what? What are you gonna do?"
Zayne didn't answer, grinning slightly as he changed routes.
"Zayne? Zayneth tell me where we're going."
Sin frowned when she was ignored again. She continued to nag Zayne but to no avail. He kept quiet with a small grin for the whole car ride.
When the car finally slowed to a stop, Sin was slightly disappointed to see that they had stopped at a dirty gas station in the city. Zayne raised his eyebrows at her.
