Asmo.

After I failed attempts at talking to Sin, I found myself looking for three specific people. Frog, Kaz and Nate.

I found Kaz on the balcony, talking quietly to Vijaya, though immediately shushing when she heard the door slide open.

"Asmo?" She turned around with a slightly impatient look, "What is it? We're kind of busy."

"Oh, uh, this is kind of important."

Kaz raised an eyebrow, "How important?"

I scrunched her nose playfully. "Just come with me while I look for Frog and Nate, and then we'll talk."

Kaz thought about it for a moment before shrugging, telling Vijaya she would be back soon. We left the balcony in search of the other two, Vi asking me handfuls of questions.

"What do you want?" "Do we have to do it now?" "Is someone in danger?" "Why do you need me?" "Can't you go talk to Sin instead, she is  the bosswoman."

"I did try  to get Sin," I mumbled as I led us from room to room, looking for the others, "But she was busy."

"So was I."

Kaz opened a door to find Nate on his phone, his eyes narrowed in frustration. He didn't even notice us walk into the room.

"God damn it," He grumbled, slamming his phone on the table.

"Uh, Nate?"

He looked up. "Oh, hi." He looked down at his phone, which probably had a fat crack on the screen. "I was playing league."

I forced a smile. "Of course you were. Now come with us, we need to find Frog so we can talk."

Nate looked to Kaz, who merely shrugged.

He sighed and stood up while pocketing his phone. "Mkay then."

We found Frog in the small gym, beating the life out of a punching bag. She had noticed us come in, but chose to ignore it, continuing to abuse the punching bag.

Kaz snorted. "Hello to you too, Frog."

Frog pulled one of her punching gloves off to wipe the sweat off her forehead. She threw a smile at Kaz.

"Yeah, hi. What are you three doing here?"

"Uh, I actually wanted to talk about something?" I stepped forward, "Can we have a small meeting- just the four of us?"

The three looked at each other for a moment, before Frog shrugged. "Sure. Let me get cleaned up first."

.

"On the night of the ball, there were two guards at the door, right?"

We were seated in the living room, the one where we had our first meeting. I felt around her pockets to make sure she still had the receipt she had wrote on.

"Yes," Kaz answered my question, "Jae and Terry."

"Well- I heard one of them stare at us weirdly then try to secretly talk on a small radio, it seemed very suspicious."

Kaz narrowed her eyes. "Which guard was it?"

"I don't know," I frowned apologetic, "He was shorter, lighter hair."

"Jae? What did he say?"

"Well.." I pulled the receipt out my pocket and winced at how wrinkled it was. I ran her fingers along the creases, then held it out to Frog. "I couldn't really hear him."
