Devil Town
Cavetown
Murder, technically racism, nightmare fueling monsters, that demon thing is totally inspired from the Promised Neverland, arson, all the arson, demons, this counts as dehumanization, I think, I'm tired, weapons, fighting, blood(_•_)
So here this thing is. I probably would have written this yesterday, but I passed out at like, one in the morning since I didn't sleep at all the night before. I think it's the fastest I've fallen asleep for a really long time.
I didn't know whether this storyline was really a one-shot type deal or an actual story thing, so I might come back in the future.
Anyways, I have close to zero idea what I'm doing with this so we'll wing it from here.
Huzzah.
(I love the cover so much making these gives me joy)
On with the shit show!

It hadn't felt real. Everything was so fast, so unreal, like he had watched it on video. How these people broke into the apartment, his mother screaming his name as they dragged him into a car as he kicked and screamed.
Izuku sat in the backseat, his knees held to his chest. He had wasted his tears an hour ago, crying for his mother.
His pointed tail flicked anxiously. Izuku had a mutation from his father that gave him a long thin tail and tiny curled horns. Nothing else. He was quirkless, at his base.
"Where are you taking me?" Izuku asked tentatively. His voice was hoarse.
"Devil Town." The woman driving responded curtly. Izuku swallowed thickly. Devil Town was infamous, and no information was ever given. Izuku ran his tongue over his tiny fangs, wondering if he could fight his way out. His eyes flicked to the tranquilizer dart gun in the passengers seat. No, he wasn't getting out of this anytime soon.
Izuku looked out the window as the buildings became few and far in between, turning dark and broken. The car pulled up to a tall electrical fence with security cameras and guarded by men and women with tranquilizer guns. Beyond the gate, dirtied broken houses and rusty beaten cars that definitely didn't work.
They passed through the gate slowly, and people came out of the houses to come stare. A vast majority had tall twisted horns, or devilish wings.
The car stopped, and the woman grabbed her gun. "Get out." She ordered. Izuku scrambled to open the door, not eager to be shot.
She looked over the crowd. "You've got a new kid. Any takers?" She addressed them. Izuku didn't understand what she meant by 'takers' but it must have something to do with someone housing him.
"What's his quirk?" A gruff voice called out.
"Demon mutation, essentially quirkless." The crowd murmured darkly, and Izuku hunched his shoulders at the judgmental looks.
When he realized that no one was going to 'take' him, Izuku glared at his feet. "It's fine. I'm fourteen, I can take care of myself."
The woman snorted. "Yeah, okay. Put this on," she tossed him a black uniform accented with cyan. Izuku looked up and realized everyone was wearing the same thing. He curled his fingers around the uniform angrily.
"Sure thing." Izuku spat, turning to walk off toward a broken house. He kept his gaze carefully in front of him, ignoring the stares of his new community.
