Twenty Three

'Wake up!' Aaliyah and Phoenix yelled as they ran in to wake up their parents.

'Hey Moms! Wake up' Aaliyah shouted.

'It's our birthday' Phoenix squealed.

Cheryl opened her eyes sitting up while Toni cracked her eye open with a groan.

The couple had been up late into the night arranging things for the twins birthday party today and carrying down their presents and setting them down in the lounge.

'Happy Birthday my little loves' Cheryl smiled as she stretched out her body.

'Do you know what's a good way to start your birthday? Go back to bed for a little longer' Toni teased.

The twins jumped on the bed giggling as they bounced on their brunette mother.

'Phoenix please be careful you've already got a broken arm' Cheryl tried but the twins were far too excited.

'Wait do you hear that?' Toni said with wide eyes as she sat up 'it's the birthday monster'.

She made a loud roar causing her children to laugh uncontrollably before they slid off of the bed.

Toni jumped out after them chasing them out of the room as they giggled loudly.

'Will you please be careful' Cheryl called rolling her eyes with a smile before climbing out of bed.

When Cheryl stepped out of her bedroom she found Toni rolling on the floor in a fit of laughter while the children climbed on her.

'I swear I only have two children not three' Cheryl laughed.

Cheryl and Toni sat proudly as their children opened their birthday presents, they said thank you for each and every one.

They had received a lot of gifts from their mothers and they still had their birthday party this afternoon.

'Are you staying here tonight?' Cheryl asked Toni when their children had finished opening their gifts.

'I mean I'd love to if you want me here?' Toni asked.

'Of course I do' Cheryl nodded.

'Okay babe' Toni leaned in for a kiss as their children turned their attention from their new toys and to their mothers making kissy sounds as they giggled.

Cheryl and Toni laughed a little before the brunette moved to the floor and began to tickle the little boy and girl.

Cheryl shook her head with a smile 'I'll go and make breakfast'.

'Okay, I'll take some of the toys upstairs so it's tidy when people come' Toni said in between tickling the twins.

Finally everything was set up in the garden for Aaliyah and Phoenix's birthday party.

There was a large bouncy castle, lots of outdoor games for the children to take part in and a long table where they'll feed the twins and their whole class.

'What do you guys think?' Toni asked as her and Cheryl took the twins outside.

'It looks amazing' Aaliyah smiled.

'Yeah best birthday party ever' Phoenix said excitedly.

'Phoenix, we still want you to have fun baby but you must be careful okay?' Cheryl said as she knelt down looking at the little boy in the eyes.

He nodded.

'Mommy's right, if your arm or head starts to hurt you need to come and let us know okay?' Toni said backing the redhead up.
