Three months later.

Cheryl and Toni had done a great job of avoiding each other over the past couple of months, it didn't hurt any less but Cheryl had gotten a lot better at hiding her emotions at least until late at night when she was alone.

The twins had seemingly gotten used to their new living situation too since Toni had gotten a house of her own where they had a bedroom each.

Cheryl took the twins out for the day when Toni came to collect all of her belongings with Fangs and Sweet Pea who were now on talking terms, she didn't think she could handle it and she didn't want the twins getting upset.

The redhead cried as soon as she had put the twins to bed that night, the house feeling empty now nothing of Toni's was laying around.

Cheryl also began taking photos of the four of them down, one by one though in hopes that Aaliyah and Phoenix wouldn't notice which luckily they didn't, the only one remaining was the one in the twins bedroom.

Her friends had been more than supportive checking in all the time even now and she loved them for it, especially when the twins were with Toni and she was alone, even Sweet Pea dropped by every so often to see how she was doing.

Toni and Cheryl had arranged over text messages about who would have the twins and when, agreeing that Cheryl would have them Saturday night through to Wednesday morning and take them to school and Toni would pick them up Wednesday after school and take them back to Cheryl on a Saturday evening.

It was working well and they had managed to avoid each other since Toni stood on the street and watched the twins run into the house on a Saturday evening.

Toni was still hurt too though, she kept herself busy by throwing herself into the serpents when she didn't have her kids, she was still getting used to living in a new house and spending half of her nights alone but she was getting there.

She hoped for a glance of Cheryl every now and again but there was nothing, she hadn't seen her since the day the redhead had dropped their kids off at Fangs.

There had been multiple times where Toni just wanted to check in but she didn't, she wanted to give Cheryl the space she needed no matter how long it took.

It was a Friday night and Cheryl was cleaning her bedroom when her phone pinged letting her know she had a text message.

Does Toni have the twins tonight?

Cheryl
Yes, why?

Me, you and Betty are having a night out, be ready for six for food at Pops and then we'll have a drink at La Bonne Nuit before heading out of town. We'll pick you up in a cab at six sharp. I won't take no for an answer. Love ya!

Fine.

Cheryl was actually looking forward to letting her hair down with her friends, it had been so long, she hoped she had something she could wear.

She headed to her wardrobe and looked through her dresses, it had been so long since she had gotten dressed up.

She finally chose a red dress that showed off her legs and her cleavage and some killer red heels.

She laid the outfit on her bed, she didn't have long to get ready so she jumped in the shower, washing her long red hair as fast as she could.

When she was done in the shower she wrapped her hair in a towel and wrapped her soft robe around her body.
