jade's pov

today is my 18th birthday. today im gonna tell my family. (my mom, dad, sister, and brother), that im a part of the lgbtq, Ive been dreading this for years, but i think its time. I was gonna tell them at dinner.

me, my mom, dad, brother, sister, and billie, finished eating, so I told them 'go to the living room bc I have something to tell you guys', yeah, billie's here, for support.

they sat down and I stood there awkwardly, waiting for everyone to get comfortable in their spot and prepared for what i was about to say, billie stood next to me just in case I decided to burst into tears or some shit.

"okay, now that yall are comfortable, I just want you guys to know that, this doesn't change anything about me, but ive been wanting to tell yall for the longest ti-," before I could finish my sentence, I got cut off by my sister, of course, "stop stalling and say it, damn," I looked at her and began to talk again.

"anyways, I am... Im lesbian,", and before I knew it, I was being yelled at by everyone in room, besides billie and my sister.

"you know what you dyke bitch, you're getting kicked out, im not gonna have a fagot like you in my house, get out!," my mom told me and began to push me and billie out of the house.

'you can come get ur shit tomorrow', my mom yelled and slammed the door in my face, billie held me in her arms as we began to walk to her car.

I stopped walking and just cried, billie hugged me tighter.

"hey, hey, were gonna figure this out, and you can stay with me for how ever long you want to, im here for you," Billie whispered to me.

we got in her car and we began to drive to her house.

about 20 mins later, we arrived at billie's house, we got out of the car and went into her house, "hey, how'd it go?," jasper asked me, "they kicked me out," I walked to the couch and sat by jasper, she moved closer to me and side hugged me, "oh, im sorry jade, you can stay with me and Billie for how ever long you want to, okay? we're gonna get through this," she hugged me tighter then got up from the couch, going to the kitchen.

billie sat by me and pulled me into her arms, "do you wanna take a shower, I have some clothes that you can wear," I shook my head yes, "mhm," me and Billie walked upstairs and looked for some clothes for me to wear. she handed me a shirt, some underwear (that she had just bought so they were never worn) and some shorts that were way too short, but its not like im gonna be going anywhere.

I walked to her bathroom and locked the door, I grabbed a towel and put it on the counter, I started my water so it could get warm while I took my clothes off.

I got out the shower and walked to the kitchen, I looked in the fridge for some food, I just grabbed soda and some chips from the pantry, I felt like someone was staring at me, so I turned around and as soon as I did, Billie turned her head a different direction, I thought nothing of it, shes always been nosy.

I walked to the couch and sat by billie.

"how you doing?," i looked at Billie as she asked that, "not the best, but knowing that someone's here for me, makes it better," Billie smiled and continued watching what ever she had on tv.

I began to eat the chips I got out of the pantry, I opened the soda, a few seconds later, I felt something seeping through the shirt I was wearing.

"shit," Billie looked at me, confused. "what happened?," I put the drink on the table, "I split my drink on my shirt,".

"c'mon, lets go get you a clean shirt," me and Billie walked to her room and she grabbed me shirt out of a drawer, I took my shirt off, leaving me in my bra and some short ass shorts.

"you're so beautiful," billie mumbled under her breath, which I could hear loud and clear, "what was that?," I put my shirt on and grabbed the dirty shirt off the ground.

"nothing," I heard you, I just wanted see if she would admit to saying it. I walked out of the room and put the dirty shirt in the clothes basket.

me and Billie went back down in living room and sat down on the couch. not long after me and Billie sat down, jasper came into the room and sat between me and billie.

"can you hand me the chips," jasper randomly spoke out, but I was zoned out, in my own world, "earth to jade," I put my attention on jasper.

"can u hand me the chips?," bitch, you couldn't have got them yourself?!, I handed her the chips, "sorry, I wasn't paying attention," I continued to watch the tv.

"i think im gonna go to sleep, goodnight," I got up from the couch, Billie got up and followed me, showing me where the pillows and blankets are, we went into the guest room and set up everything, once we were done, I hugged billie, "thank you bil, for everything, I love you so much, and im very grateful for you," she hugged me tighter and told me, "your welcome love, and im very grateful for you too, and I love you too," we told each other good night and she left the room.

I got settled and laid down.

a few hours later

it was almost 3am, and I couldn't sleep.

I went into the kitchen quietly and looked through the cabinets for some sleeping medicine. I heard a door creak and I jumped a little, and a tired Billie walked down the stairs.

"what are you doing jade, its 3 in the morning?," she came into the kitchen, "looking for some sleeping medicine, I cant sleep," I told her honestly, "oh, well we dont have any," she looked in the fridge and grabbed a water, "well fuck, how am I gonna sleep?," I began to walk back to the room I was in, "I have an idea but I cant bc that would be cheating so nvm," I stopped in my tracks and looked at billie, "what were you gonna say?," Billie walked up the stairs.

"oh, I think you know," she looked at me with a smirk on her face and back in her room and closed the door quietly.

I was genuinely confused but I brushed it off and went to the room, I closed the door quietly and got on the bed, I grabbed my phone, I had millions of message notifications, but they were mostly from my sister, saying shes sorry about what happened and I could stay at her place, but I didnt open any if them.

i got up and turned on the small lights and made them dim, I laid down and the dim lighting made me feel calm, and I finally fell asleep.
