When I reached home Master fu wasn't there and immediately I got scared. I look around for anything that may tell me where he went and find a note on a table, it said;

Dear Annabeth,

I am sorry for leaving without warning, but it was an emergency.

I had to go search for the missing miraculous that I told you of.

I hope school went well, did you have fun? make some new friends?

I will not be able to contact you from here, I'll be back as soon as possible.

It was short but straight to the point, he said he would be home soon but I'm still worried about him, I guess I should go to the sleepover then, maybe it will cheer me up.

Hmm, what will I need? I start making a list to make sure I cover everything

-Toothbrush

-Pajamas

-Change of clothes

-Phone

- Dagger (just for safety)

Ok, I think I got everything I need. Percy gave me his number in class so I should probably text to ask for his address.

Me: Hey, Seaweed Brain!

His answer was almost immediate.

Seaweed Brain: Hi, Wise Girl!

Me: What time should I be over?

Seaweed Brain: Come whenever you want, my mom is dying to meet you.

Me: You already told her about me 😂

Seaweed Brain: Yea, she asked me about my day and I had to tell her my highlight 😉

Me: Aww, thanks Perce. Flirting already..? 😏

Seaweed Brain: I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAAAAT!!

Me: Okay :) Can I come over soon then?

Seaweed Brain: Sure here's my address

Me: Ok, I'll be there in 10m, see you 👋

Seaweed Brain: Sea you

Percy's POV

I see Annabeth walk towards me as the afternoon sun shines over the dirt path to my house. The breeze blows Annabeth's blond luscious curly hair. Did I seriously just think that?!?!?!? I immediately ran down and shout "Hi WiSe GuRl."

I bring her inside and as soon as we step inside my mom rushes towards us and pulls both of us into a hug.

"mOoOoOoOoOoM >:(" I groan.

She ignores me and instead decides to acknowledge Annabeth.

"Hello, Annabeth! Percy has told me all about you!"

"Has he now?"

"You were the only thing he was talking about when he got home, he wouldn't shut up about you!"
