When Annabeth sat back down on my lap reluctantly, my heart started beating faster and louder, so loud that I'm pretty sure she could hear it. I slowly put my chin on her shoulder to see how she would react. When she didn't move away I internally sighed in relief. She then leaned back against me so I moved until my back was against the wall and she was leaning against me. I could feel the warmth radiating from her skin which helped my body heat up a little after the freezing cold jump in the pool. I shook my head to get out of my Annabeth trance to ask someone a question. I look around the room and decide my target. Slowly my probably lovesick smile turns into a smirk.

"Ok, Marinette your turn this time I have a juicy question," I say.

Hopefully, this will cause them to get together. I'm not that stupid no matter how much Wise Girl calls me a Seaweed Brain, I know Marinette likes Adrien and vice versa but they both just don't know it.

"Oh, my gods" Marinette replies.

My only thought was; MWAHAHAHAHA!

"Ok... truth or dare," I ask her.

"Truth" Marinette replies

"Ok, Marinette do you... like Adrian back?" I ask

"Wait, he likes me?" Marinette exclaims happily.

I KNEW IT!

"DUH he kissed you" I reveal

"PERCY!!!!! Firstly you peeked then you tell them all" Adrien says rolling his eyes

"Oh, I wasn't supposed to tell anyone," I say, acting dumb.

"YEA" Adrien replies.

MARINETTE POV

What should I say? What would happen if I tell Adrien? Will I lose all my friends because I say this?

"Ok, Adrien I have wanted to tell you this for a long time," I say as his eyes grow larger.

"Yes..." Adrien says shocked.

"I have liked you since I first met you," I replied.

"Wait really?" Adrien exclaimed

"YES, IT WORKED!" Percy shouts

"Wait, you did that for me?"Adrien acts shocked

"Yea, dude was that not obvious?" Percy replies.

"I think the most incredible thing is that Percy here did something smart," Annabeth speaks up from Percy's lap.

Everyone laughs at that as Adrien and I stare at each other, blushing.

"Aw, they're so cute Seaweed brain," Annabeth says, staring at us while Percy stares at her in awe.

"Guys, is anyone else hungry? I think it's time for us to eat and watch a movie or something.

We walk into the living room. DAMNIT! There are 3 two-person couches. I look at Alya. She shakes her head at me and goes to sit down with Nino. "TRAITOR' I mouth and her. She just laughs. I gasp and look at Annabeth. I beg for her to sit with me, mouthing it at her. She looks at Percy, who is talking to Adrien. She walks over to me. THANK THE GODS. I almost had to sit with Adrien... Alone... on a two-person couch... just the thought makes me blush.

ADRIEN POV

While we are watching the movie, I keep glancing at Marinette, who seems to be entranced by it. I decided I need to stretch. I get up and announce I need water. Annabeth says that she wants some too. She darts into the kitchen, and out again. I guess she didn't want to miss any of the movie? When I get back, everything is different. Percy is sitting with Nino, Alya is sitting with Annabeth, and Marinette... is sitting alone. I put my water down, and walk over to Marinette, who seems to have not noticed the new arrangements. She is sprawled out over the couch. 

Annabeth gets up, stands next to me, and says "Move over a bit, Marinette"

She does, not even looking back. Annabeth snickers at me and sits next to Alya again. I slowly sit down.

MARINETTE POV

The movie is going pretty well so far! It is so cool! Suddenly, someone jumps onto the screen. I scream and accidentally jump onto Annabeth.

"Sorry Annabeth," I say. Annabeth laughs. Hold on...

"It's okay Marinette" NOT ANNABETH! I turn around. ADRIEN!?!?!

"ADRIEN?!?" I scream. "HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SITTING THERE"

Everyone turns towards us and then Annabeth shushes us.

"Sorry, Marinette.." he says "I didn't mean to scare you" He looks at me with his big green eyes.

"Oh no Adrien, it's ok you didn't scare me. I- I mean you kinda did, but it's still okay. But, uh- how long have you been sitting there...?"

"Move on lovebirds!" Percy says,

"Yeah, we need to finish this movie," Alya says.

TIME SKIP

ADRIEN'S POV

I hear... birds..? I open my eyes and wait for them to adjust to the light. I see that it is already the next morning. I see that everyone has fallen asleep. 

Suddenly, something moves on my back. A hand. I look down and see Marinette's hand. Oh.. we must have FALLEN ASLEEP TOGETHER! 

In her sleep, she shifts herself closer to me, so our lips are almost touching. Her soft, sweet, pink lips. I recall what they feel like on mine... GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF, ADRIEN! You can't fall this hard for someone who is supposed to be just a friend, even if they are beautiful, funny, smart, and kind... OH NO! 

She said she has liked me for a long time, and I have called her just a friend so many times... I need to apologize when she wakes up. 

Marinette moves again, this time moving closer to me, and putting her head in the crook of my neck. I can feel her breath on my skin. I shiver, and goosebumps appear all over my body. She yawns and moves back to where she was before. 

I freeze. 

This moment is too perfect to be over... she opens her eyes and looks into mine. Surprisingly, I didn't jump back. I gasp. I forgot how beautiful her bluebell eyes were. Now I can feel her breath on my lips. In a burst of Marinette-like confidence, she leans closer, until her lips are on mine. 

Her eyelids flutter, and I feel her eyelashes brush mine. Now she is waiting for me to make the last move. I press my lips against hers and she sighs. I feel like I'm on cloud nine. We break apart slowly, and we stare into each other's eyes for what seems like forever.

"Sorry," I say. Oh Adrien, is that the best thing you could have said?

She tilts her head and says. "For what?" In her sleep-deprived state.

"For calling you just a friend" She laughs, and we fall asleep in each other's arms again.
