"Hello Mrs.Smith! I'm Ranboo, the one whose parents you called." Ranboo introduced himself.

"Hello Ranboo, I'm Mrs. Smith. Toby talks about you a lot." Mrs. Smith smiled.

"Oh, he does?" Ranboo said giving Tubbo a devilious glance. Tubbo was flustered on the other hand, he didn't dare look up, he just clung onto Ranboo's sleeve. "Are you two dating yet?" Teagan faked barfed. "Oh uh, actually can I talk to you Mom?" "Mhm sure, don't kill Toby's friend you two." Mrs. Smith glanced at the two younger siblings.
"What would you do if I was gay and dating someone?" "I'd accept you of course, your still my child." Tubbo let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding. "Well mom, me and Ranboo are actually dating, he asked me out yesterday." Tubbo admitted. "Toby, that's great! I wish good times upon you and him." Mrs. Smith smiled, "You still need to tell your father though, he still needs to know, but I don't think he will be as fond as he can be of it." "I know, I'd thought I would talk to you first, I'll tell him after he comes home from work today."
"Oh Ranboo and Tubbo, your school just sent an email saying you won't have school today due to extreme weather." Mrs. Smith yelled when the boys were heading upstairs. "Okay, thank you mom!" Tubbo yelled back. "What did you tell your mom if you don't mind me asking?" "Oh, I came out to her and told her we were dating." Tubbo explained, "Did she accept you?" Tubbo sighed," yeah she did I'm just worried about my father's opinion though." "I promise it's going to be fine, you still have me." Ranboo said cupping Tubbo's face in his hand. "Thank you boo." Tubbo smiled and then leaned in to kiss Ranboo. "Your welcome, I mean I'm supposed to be there for you I am your boyfriend?" Ranboo laughed. "yeah that's what I thought about him too." Tubbo said under his breath. "Did you say something?" Ranboo asked. "Nah, just something to myself though."

A few hours later

"Kids! Your father is home!" Toby and Ranboo looked up at each other. "It's gonna fine bee." Tubbo sighed," Okay I'm gonna go do this now."
"Hey, dad! How was work?" Tubbo asked with a smile trying to cover his fear. "Oh it was fine, hey kiddo are you alright; you look sick." "Oh yeah, I am perfectly fine. Can I talk to you alone for a moment?" Tubbo asked, he saw his mother shoot him worried eyes. "Oh yeah sure, let me put up my coat first." Tubbo nodded. "So what did you wanna talk about?" Mr. Smith asked as they sat in the living room. "Well uh, Dad um; You see uh- I'm gay and have a boyfriend." Toby's dad just drank his coffee. "Soo- any response?" Tubbo asked, his anxiety building up even more. "Well I don't necessarily agree with homosexuality-" And yep Toby was right; His dad wouldn't accept him. "But, that doesn't mean I don't accept you, I may not agree but I still respect your sexuality. You're still my son, you being gay doesn't change that." Toby's father added smiling and then hugging Tubbo. Tubbo felt tears falling from his eyes, "thank you.." Tubbo whispered while hugging back his Dad.

At the end of the day, we need to still respect others. Being "different" doesn't change the fact they're still humans with feelings and opinions.

Author's note
I didn't do the basic 'oh yeah one of the parents is homophobic' because in truths that's only 50% of the time. I really like this chapter and I hope you do too :) Remember to drink water and stay healthy my beloved readers <3
