2 - Escape Plan

It's been two weeks since the incident and Xiaolan' s wounds were almost healed. He could walk and run like before. Lu Cong Qing ,an imperial doctor and Cousin of the Emperor has a close relationship with Shen Zheqiang . Although Lu Cong Qing is only 28 but his talent and medical skills has already passed his seniors.

In the evening he came to visit Shen Zheqiang and Xiaolan.
Although the excuse he made for his visit was to check on Xiaolan but he actually came here for another matter.

"A - qiang and Xiao'er , you've been living in this palace for two months and everyday you have to suffer a lot.
Brother can't watch it anymore."

"Brother Lu, What are you trying to say?"

"Okay i won't put you in confusion, what I'm trying to say is do you want to escape from this place?"

" Brother Lu want to help us escape?"

Lu Cong Qing nodded.

"I will help you escape. Both of you have received the worse of treatments here. A - qiang you've been poisoned twice and Xiao'er was beaten harshly. It's a blessing that the wounds are almost healed in a short amount of time and the medicine that you applied won't leave scars but What if one day I'm not around I can't imagine what they'll do to you. You should go far away from the capital and start a new life there"

Shen Zheqiang and Xiaolan quickly nodded with sparks in their eyes.
They can't wait to escape from this hell. They want to ran faraway and start a new life.

"You don't have to be scared or worry about anything . I'll make sure you both escape safe and soundly. Anyways his Majesty won't mind or care so I guess it's a good thing. He won't bother to know where you ran off or will try to bring you back.
So the Emperor is out of the picture."

"Brother Lu but where are we going to live? I don't know any places outside of Liang"

(Liang is the name of the capital of Qin Empire)

Seeing the worried face of the young ger infront of him Lu Cong Qing can't help but feel sorry. His heart soften everytime he sees him.
Such a gentle and innocent being deserve to be treated with love and care but instead he had to suffered too much pain.

"About that you don't have to worry I bought a house in Blue Clouds Town last month . I'll take the both of you there. No one will disturb you . You can live there happily and peacefully."

Both of Shen Zheqiang and Xiaolan's faces glow after listening to the words of brother Lu. They can't help but be curious,

" Brother Lu so when do we leave?"

" I took a leave to find herbs in the Blue Clouds Mountain. You both should start packing . We'll be leaving at dawn. And both of you should dressed in servant clothing. "

Both of them nodded.

" One more thing, A - qiang you can take off your veil as no one had seen your face but make sure to put on some makeup and make your face ugly otherwise it'll be too eye catching."

Shen Zheqiang, ".................."

In the Harem , Shen Zheqiang had always worn a veil so nobody has seen her face not even the Emperor. He only takes it off when he's with Xiaolan or Concubine Xue Ying or Lu Cong Qing. Unlike most greedy and lust driven men , Lu Cong Qing never have other intentions or romantic affections towards Shen Zheqiang. Both of them consider themselves as brothers.

After explaining few more things Lu Cong Qing left in order to prepare for the journey.

At night after dinner Xiaolan started to prepare for tomorrow's journey.
