3 : A New life Begins

As the evening falls, the sound of a carriage stopping at the palace gates could be heard. Lu Cong Qing step out of the carriage and directly went over the Emperor's Study to inform his majesty that he'll be leaving the capital for the assignment given to him.

Going in he greeted,"Long live you masjesty, may you live a thousand years."

"What brings you here, Doctor Lu?"

"Your Majesty I came here to inform you that I'll be leaving the capital for the assignment you've assigned me. I ask for your majesty blessings before I leave"

"Hmmm, have a safe journey"

Lu Cong Qing said his thanks,excuse himself and left the study.
He went to look out for Shen Zheqiang and Zhu Xiaolan but before he enter the inner palace his eyes caught the sight of two figures dressed in disguises standing not far away.
By their figures he already guess who they are and gestured them to follow him.
Lu Cong Qing was a respected Imperial physician and close subject of the Emperor so the guards didn't dare to stop or inspect him.
They saw the two men servants following the imperial physician whose looks were so Ugly that they didn't bother to even look at them.

As soon as they got in the carriage, Shen Zheqiang and Zhu Xiaolan quickly took off their human face masks.
The masks were not made from human skin but rather with some unknown materials which they didn't want to bother to know.
They sighed a breath of relief.
Finally they left that awful place and wish nothing but a calm and peaceful life ahead.

Lu Cong Qing was curious about the masks, usually Shen Zheqiang and his servant doesn't go outside of the palace then who gave them these ugly masks.
Anyway the masks came to be useful.

"Where did you get those ugly masks?"

Shen Zheqiang,"Sister Xue Ying gave us. She came to visit me so I told her about our escape plan and immediately help us disguise ourselves."

"Good. Now rest for the time being it might take us more than a week to reach our destination."

By the 8th day of their journey they finally arrived at 'BLUE CLOUDS TOWN.'
Just So you know the name BLUE CLOUDS TOWN have nothing to do with the colour of the clouds.
The colour of the clouds here are the same as in other places.
As to why it was name this way only the founder knows.
There is a popular story of the founder among the townfolks.
It was said that the founder of the town was deeply in love with his lover and whenever he have to name something he would name them based on the last words his lover spoken to him each time when he goes out for work.
For example , the town founder's mansion was name ' Freaking Hell ' because it was his lover last said words to him before the construction of the house.
His descendants didn't feel any need to change the names after the dead of the founder as the names were the symbol of love between 'THE FOUNDER AND HIS LOVER' so nobody have ever thought of changing the names.
Because of its founder, BLUE CLOUDS TOWN have a reputation of having various weird names of places, houses,lakes etc.

The party from the capital arrived at the manor bought by Lu Cong Qing a year ago.
The house was only half km away from the town and have a farm on the backside.
The farm was bought by Lu Cong Qing so that Shen Zheqiang and Zhu Xiaolan can make used of it for their day to day life.
If they're interested then.
If they aren't then he will sell it someday.
While on their journey Shen Zheqiang had already told Lu Cong Qing about Xiaolan adopting his mother's surname and how they intended to live their lives together as cousins.
Lu Cong Qing was happy beyond words.
He always feels like both of them were his younger brothers and it was his responsibility to take of their well-beings.
