Catch Up

It's been a long time since both Chan and Hyunjin got to properly talk to each other. After they talked about the project Hyunjin and Chan decided to spend more time together. Just the two of them to catch up on the things they've missed after everything that happened 2 years ago.

Minho's POV

You see this was something Minho has already anticipated. He knew that somehow Hyunjin and Chan would catch up and probably even fix their relationship but nothing prepared him for the heartbreak he felt when it was actually happening but there was no one to blame but him. Hyunjin never asked him to like him it was just... him. It was just Minho who naturally fell in love with Hyunjin's charm but at the same time it was not like he could help it. Hyunjin made Minho see and feel something he never felt with anyone else. Maybe it was just fate playing with him. Or maybe this was just how it's supposed to be.

Whatever it was maybe it was just meant to make me suffer. Minho thought.

Hyunjin and Chan just decided to go to Chan's apartment since it was already night. They just planned to order delivery and talk.

Once both of them arrived at the older's apartment Hyunjin taught the design was so Chan. Everything was just screaming Chan from the color scheme to how the place was designed.

" This is so you Chan" Hyunjin said while laughing a little making his eyes form crescents which looked so beautiful in the eyes of Chan or maybe not just hime but everyone who knew the younger. But that smile held a special space on Chan's heart. It's been a while since he saw that smile.

"Is that suppose to be an insult?" Chan said lightheartedly as he chuckled obviously teasing Hyunjin.

Hyunjin also just laughed at that knowing the older's tactics.

Hyunjin and Chan settled down in the living room the older handling the remote to Hyunjin so that the younger could pick a movie for them to watch.

"Hyunnie what do you wanna eat?" Chan asked the nickname just suddenly rolling off his tongue.

"Hyunnie" Hyunjin blushed at that. It was a nickname Chan used to call him.

"Uhmm... maybe pizza? You know simple to eat while we're watching." Hyunjin suggested.

"I was thinking about that too!" Chan said way too excited and Hyunjin found that cute. He missed that.

The food arrived just around 14 mins in the movie. Chan paid for it and they continued watching. Honestly it was more like Chan was watching Hyunjin laugh and watch the movie. He was more interested in that than the actual movie they were watching. Hyunjin looked so beautiful like this. Smiling and laughing this was the only sight Chan wanted to see and finally he's seeing it. Right in front of him.

At the moment both of them felt comfortable and at peace. It felt nice.

Just like before. Both of them secretly thought but as soon as the thought came so did their sad memories and unanswered questions. Yet both of them shrugged it off and dismissed it. Choosing to focus on the present and worry about those later. They weren't ready to talk about that just yet.

Not knowing that in just a few weeks they'll be talking about the same thoughts they just shrugged off and ignore with all their might. Talk about things that would probably be the opposite of the happy and lovely mood right now. That's just how it is, it's just how things will be and by then they won't be able to avoid that topic anymore. This was the calm before the storm, but they didn't have to know that just yet.
